Why should Tony Finau NOT be my favorite player?

Tony seems like a super chill guy, hits it a mile, pretty well-liked, etc. Any reason Tony shouldn't be my guy? I know he hasn't closed out many tourneys, but he's always in the hunt. Just wanna be sure there's no Tin Cup scenario where he secretly treats children, old people, and dogs (or caddies, golf course staff, etc.) like crap.

Followed him for a bit at TPC Boston on his rookie year during the Pro Am. Laughing and goofing off with everyone he was paired with, tossing balls to kids, and hitting hybrid where the ams were hitting driver and ending up 30 yards past them. What a crack his impact makes.

he was on the big break too, it's cool to see a guy who was struggling to make it for a bit end up doing so well

Haha! The name is not changing, but Dufner has disappeared from the public eye. When he split with Amanda that was the beginning of the end it seems.

Having met Tony and his wife through mutual acquaintances while I lived in Hawaii, can verify that Tony is a class and humble guy that is a joy to be around and his wife is one of the sweetest, most genuine people anyone could ever hope to meet.

Is he your favorite golfer or is he the person you look up to in life. Just a question. My favorite golfer all time is Tiger and we all know his history. Keep it simple and you will find that Tony is a guy you can root for. Hopefully he doesnt fall into the Rickie Fowler syndrome.

He seems more like Roy than David. Lots of talent, but does not know how to convert. I am going to be on David, and follow Roy.
