Canceled My P7MC Custom Order

I canceled my custom order of lefthanded P7MC irons this morning.  Originally ordered them through TM Direct on August 24th with an expected ship date of September 4th.  Then, a week later, I got an email telling me that the September 4th date was a mistake because the heads were backordered.   The new date was October 14th.  This morning I received an email telling me the ship date was backed up even further to October 20th.  It made me wonder when the next email would be received backing it up either more.  So I called to cancel.

 

The customer service rep was very polite and took the cancelation in stride.  When they originally changed the ship date they told me they would send me a dozen of TM tour balls.  I didn't receive those either.  So I told the rep about the balls and he said they were just shipped a few days ago and would be arriving today.  So I asked if he wanted me to return them.  He said no, to keep them.  I thought that was a nice gesture.

 

My original order was made without even trying them.  I guess you might say it was impulsive, but I am sure I could play them.  Oh well, more time to search for the new weapons.
