Hah, I never understood replies like that. "People have had publicly documented issues with them"....."Yeah well, I haven't so....". So what? A good transaction does not cancel out a bad one. 

As for the rest of the thread, I was a supporter even though my first and only order from them was wrong (not in a big way, but still) until this thread:
 

After seeing the laughably poor approach they took to initially addressing this, plus guilt tripping the customer because of how much THEIR mistake was an inconvenience for them, then topped off with even the attempts to correct the mistake getting screwed up, I decided I was not going to support them or contribute to any further conversation in their threads, but I was going to do so silently e.g. not speak out/against them because even as egregious as that thread was, everyone makes mistakes and has bad days. I decided to say something though when another very similar thread popped up with the same general customer service problems, and i'm glad action was finally taken. When you pull all the complaints and threads together, it paints a picture of a pretty rickety, unprofessional, and poorly run business, at least on the retail side.

Here's a thought GGE, don't sell something you don't have in your inventory. Seems as though most issues stemmed from selling items JT didn't have in stock, then lying/ignoring regarding the shipping. 

 

And for anyone defending this guy, just because you had a successful transaction (I bought 2 shafts from him) doesn't mean he wasn't a con artist.

I'll readily admit that, as a young Air Force officer with more money and club head speed than good sense, I got caught up in the whole BSG hustle. It wasn't all completely ridiculous as Derek did some great custom wedge grinds for me, and I'm glad to count him as a friend now. With age and experience come wisdom and discernment.

Yes, and that top line on his LinkedIn profile is his latest attempt to start up another golf discussion forum that appears to have been dead on arrival. Might be time to look into another business/fraud model.
