Pxg 311 forged wedges any reviews?

Just looking for some on course experience with the pxg forged wedges thanks!!!

I use the original wedges. They are the ones for $125 right now.  I love them!  With the elevate tour they’re awesome especially at full swings (which I always have an issue with most wedges) and a nice soft feel. I get plenty of spin on them and think they’re a great deal.  I use a 52 and 58.

Just hit them recently. Not on the course. 
 

feel was good. Spin was good. ?

 

I don’t love the bolts in the back of PxG irons, but I could tolerate the wedges since it’s not as many as irons.

Here’s the link for the original wedges that are $125. They work better for me because I like higher bounce.

Spin a ton and feel great.

Too big for my liking though and for me not as accurate as SM8.

Wedges are so personal, but the OG 0311 are the best wedges [for me] that I have played.  54*/14 and 58*/12 with Elevate Tour stiff.  I thought the bounce might be too high, but it works perfectly for me.  Just a complete synergy with me on everything I need wedges to do, whether bunker shots, chips, pitches, full shots, etc.  I would have bought back-ups, but they sold out of the LH heads a while ago.  I may pick up some of the current wedges at the current pricing to see how they compare.

I got the 0311 forged wedges back in March.   They produce great spin for me on all shots - partial or full shots.   I don't use my 58* for anything longer than 60 yard.  I use my 54* for everything since I started using the no wrist hinge swing.   Produces the flighted shots with tons of spin.    I like more bounce and these work for my swing.   The 58* is terrific out of the sand and around the green.  I do get consistency with all the different shots and have not had any head scratching weird shots that made me wonder what that was.   

 

I did try the other more expensive wedges as well but just did not get along with them at all.    I did purchase two more during the price discounts for next year and i hate switching out my wedges since they are my scoring clubs and it takes too long to get comfortable with a new set.

Has anyone compared these to the new SM8s? They are around the same price point for this sale (SM8s seem to be $159 on secondary sites).

My son has the SM8's and i have tried them out.   They look really good behind the ball but unfortunately, I really don't like the feel of the vokey wedges - never did so my thoughts were negative from the beginning.   They definitely produce spin and grab around the greens with all different types of shots.    They just feel hard to me and I love the feel of the PXG wedges - almost like i feel the ball catching the grooves type feeling.  For wedges, I need the softer feeling wedges.    

 

My son loves them and does not like my PXG wedges.  Just shows how feel is a very subjective topic of discussion.

Mine came yesterday -54 and 60 with Elevate Tour Stiff.  First round today and I am impressed.  Look great, easy to get out of sand, playable, excellent feel and spin that checks the ball nicely on the green.  Well worth $149 each

I have a new set of the original 0311s in 52 and 58 coming soon.  Love the distance control and how I can hit full shots with ease with the elevate tour shafts.

I’m with you! Just got the Proto driver, Gen2 hybrid and Gen3 irons.... now I have to have these wedges!!

I am in the same position, have the gen 3 irons, gen 2 hybrid and 3 wood, Porto driver.  At this point, how much could 2 wedges and a Blackjack putter really hurt.  In reality, I do love all the clubs I have so far and really enjoy playing more.

Round 2 today with the wedges.  The honeymoon continues.  Hard to beat at the price IMO,  Also killing my Proto X Driver, Hybrids and fairway

Any more updates on these new (not original) wedges. Just saw these at PXG HQ and they look really good down by the ball. $149 looks like a good price for a forged wedge. 
 

Still feel good and have good spin? Hoping these pair up well with my 0211’s. Going to order the 50, 54, and 60.

I’ll be able to chime in at some point, but not sure when.  I just put in an order for the new 0311 wedges in the same 54* and 58* I am playing currently (same Elevate Tour stiff shafts, which for some reason are fantastic in these wedges).  The original 0311 really are so good for me.  The newer version has less bounce, so I am curious to see if that works worse, better or the same for me as the originals which are high bounce.

 

Anyway, these will likely take at least a few weeks to build and arrive, and it will then depend on Mother Nature cooperating by keeping the snow away so I can try the new ones out (and hopefully not just on frozen turf, which won’t tell me much).  So, in other words, who the heck knows, but I’ll see what I can report back when the time comes.

Is it actually less than the sale price?  Even saving on the shipping would be nice.

It's retail price, free shipping.

 

I just got the 0311 forged wedges with steelfiber shafts. Will post some thoughts once I get a few rounds in.

 

Coming from a set of RTX4 that I just could not get along with.
