They had a 35” 5.5 on the rack at Scheels in Springfield, IL. Would have purchased it but already preordered one from Discount Dan’s.

I called PGASS today where I preordered and they quoted me 3/17 ship date (ground). Means it should be in my hands by 3/23 or 3/24! Will keep all posted when I pester them for a tracking number next week.

I walked into my club’s pro shop this morning and they were all on a rack, apparently came in Tuesday or Wednesday. Bought it and played 18- love the look and feel!

Looks like I'm a little late to the game on this one but I currently play an Odyssey EXO Seven S as a Lefty so once I found out the Phantom X 5.5 was going to be available with the slant neck I was instantly intrigued.

 

I'm planning to order very soon.

 

Do you guys prefer the Pistolero Plus grip or one of the Matador models? I'm not sure which one I'll want.

I bought a matador grip off eBay a few weeks ago expecting to put it on the X5.5 - the pistolero plus is all you need

That's sort of what I figured. I have a Pistol GT 2.0 on my current putter but debating on moving to something smaller. Golf shops near me stock the Matador so if I don't like it I could easily upgrade.

The Pistolero Plus is the same as what is stock on the Special Selects that came out last year right?

 

I had a Fastback 1.5 for a bit before moving on (great putter, just couldn't get it to sit square for me which bugged me). My usual go to grip is the SS Pistol GT 1.0, is there a SC grip that would be closer in size to that?

Okay. I waited 24 hours after JT's win so that I don't spoil the results for anyone. 

 

I think X5.5 should be flying off the shelf. More so after JT's win. Imagine if JT takes the Masters. Jesus ...

Picked one up at my local pro shop today and the pro gave me a smokin deal! Soooo much improved over the prior generation. I bought a Toulon Las Vegas about 2 months ago and said that was going to be my putter for the year...F'd that all up.

The Special Select 2020 had the Pistolini Plus which is slimmer than the Pistolero Plus which is on the 2019 Phantom X line, and also on the 2021 Phantom X.

I did. .395 over the hosel.  Guy on eBay has them in black and chrome.

Any chance you can do me a favor and track it for me? When you go on fedex there’s always an item description. I got a track from fedex but not PGASS and am curious if it’s for the putter. Item description is 44x6x4, 2.5lbs. Is that the same as yours? Thanks!
