No more circle T putters

I always check out the gallery putters every week.

Lately the releases are not circle T and are all under $1000.

Is this something Titleist does now and then?

I have been seeing 5K golf bags, several hundred $ club covers on EBay so maybe that is the new thing.

Not true at all. I think you’re confusing MOTO Mondays with the weekly Wednesday circle T drops. Happens every week.

Yeah Scotty is gonna stop making Circle T putters, I guess he doesn't like money anymore.

Came here to say the same thing. MOTO Monday has been a new thing since COVID started. I think Scotty was looking for a way to continue to move product that was intended for his Gallery in Encinitas. The Gallery is open again too though.

 

Wednesday Tour putters are still happening every week.

 

Scotty has also been producing accessories like bags, towels, putter covers, and other covers for many years now. Actually this year has seen the least amount of cover releases since I can remember.

Circle T's are done.  Old, washed up business.  Circle JT's are the new hotness.  

 

Crossing my fingers he releases another Circle JT model so I can buy it from a flipper for $1000 markup.  That way I know it's good.

Slightly off topic-sorta. What is the point of these gallery tour putter emails?? They all are 'sold out'. I am in no way someone who would drop 4k on a putter, and I do spend $$ on golf s***. These gallery tour putters seem like a hot concert ticket release where the tickets are sold out before being posted (back when concerts were a thing sadly).

Anyone have insight here?

They go online at the same time each week.  Most are picked up by Flippers or collectors in the first couple of minutes.  Anything left over usually is the least valuable resell-wise.  

 

The $4k left handed 009 masterful doesn't have even face milling.  Guess you gotta pay $5k+ if you want them to do a quality job.

That lefty 009 is ok, not a fan of the face milling. But man for 4K I could build one insane collection of putters real quick.

Kinda yeah, but I've never actually ordered a custom putter. I just swoop up other people's customs when they don't like them. 

 

I need to purge a few and maybe bite on a custom or two, just so indecisive. Only if I made better money lol.

my 2 cents...Order custom when you get to the point you know exactly what you want.  Not just head model-wise but all specs (head weight, type of material, face milling, alignment aid preference, type of finish, shaft preference, grip preference, loft, lie etc).  Until then, keep buying and selling others until you figure that out.

That's kinda why I haven't bought one cause I don't want to spend 500+ and then not like the putter. I'm getting close to knowing what I exactly want, luckily I find I can putt with multiple different setups as long as my specs are correct.

Do you know what time they get posted please?
