So @Newinup  this is the PGA site (not the LPGA) and it can be considered accurate as they are the hosts of this Championship and, yes, Bianca is in the confirmed field. 🙂

Yes I had confirmed that quite a few days ago already. Just stating what I kept bugging @18majors at the PM level last week when I was still "in doubt" LOL...

In this unusual year, twelve rookies played into this major via 2020 official money list.  They're lucky, because so many veteran players have quitted this year:

Yealimi Noh, Andrea Lee, Leona Maguire, Yui Kawamoto, Patty Tavatanakit, Matilda Castren

Esther Lee, Albane Valenzuela, Jillian Hollis, Jennifer Chang, Bianca Pagdanganan, Haley Moore

Of the group, Patty Tavatanakit and Bianca Pagdanganan are the most explosive.  They'll make waves if their games are on.

I certainly need them to "explode" to catch up in our ROY game lol...

I'm happy for Nelly Korda; she's firmly established herself the top dog.  ShopRite was an indifferent tournament for her until she came back in the final round to beat Brooke Henderson by one stroke.

There'll be different winners every week; but for world supremacy, it's down to Nelly, Brooke and Jin Young Ko.

Nelly and Brooke will face off again in the 2nd most important tournament of the year; can't wait to see how it develops.

I know there has been a lot of talk of a ball rollback for men’s golf but it really is so nice to see the ladies getting on some of the grand old courses the last few years. They don’t have the length,or the room for fans, needed for a men’s event but are perfect for the women.

The PGA Tour had a FEC playoff event at Aronimink in 2018 and is hosting the PGA Championship in 2026.

Figured I might have overstepped with the comment. Was recollection rather than research.
That said I like them doing that with the others. Gives us another chance to see some courses that don’t have room for 50k to 100k+ fans a day that the men’s events require.

I'm liking one of Nelly, Sei Young Kim and Brooke this week, I think it will be which ever player shows up with their putter this week.  All 3 have been doing an amazing job with their ballstriking and I expect it to continue but can one of them find the hot putter this?  If any/or all do show up with a hot putter they will be tough to beat.

Solid picks ... check this overview out: https://bit.ly/3lhvZKf

Similar thoughts as yours with a few other picks for consideration.

Speaking of putting, Sei Young probably has more good putting weeks than either Brooke or Nelly; but Nelly and Brooke are a tad better in ball striking day in and day out.  Can't go wrong with any of the three picks.

The US/ Canada desperately needs to win this week with Europe and Korea has won one major each this year.  Hopefully, either Nelly or Brooke will get the job done.

Compared to the way Brooke and Lucky 6 arrived at the scene, this year's rookie class has been laboring in obscurity.   Hopefully, either Yealimi, Andrea, Leona, Patty or Bianca can play at the final two groups come Sunday and grab some spotlight that they've failed to garner thus far.

I'm just going to stop picking Nelly.  Maybe that will work.

Lexi...if she can find the fairway...

So your strategy is a little "reverse psychology" or reverse karma of sorts?  It could work ... Nelly is definitely playing super well right now

Not well enough if I pick her!  😄  So reverse psychology it is!

I really liked seeing the women at Woburn last year - but disappointingly it has been dropped from the British Open roster, with a move to links courses.
