The single best piece of equipment you’ve found lately

Recommended Posts

What is the single best piece of equipment you’ve come across in the last year? Something maybe everyone could benefit from trying.
I’ve tried the Cleveland CBX2 wedges. They are great.
I’ve tried the Hzardus Green and really really like it.
The Ping G410 LST is great.
But the one thing I have tried that I know I will never leave is the Grip Master leather perf grips. They are amazing! I play without a glove and have psoriatic arthritis and have never felt a grip like this before. No issues whatsoever with slipping. No issues with harshness.

i have played about 30 rounds and see absolutely no wear at all and the tackiness is unbelievable.
So my question is what single piece of equipment has blown you over this year?

More of a rediscovery, I have a couple Vokey SM wedges that had been out of the bag for a while, put them back in for no particular reason and they are really performing. They used their vacation time

For me it was switching to the TEE cbx  119 4 wood. The smaller head isn’t for everyone but its just absolutely automatic for me. Finally switching to xstiff in the woods and going a bit heavier probably also helped

I am not sure I have been happier with more clubs in my bag at any single time, and I have been doing this a long time!

Cobra Speedzone Extreme Yellow HzDRUS Smoke - Longer and straighter than anything I have hit!

TEE EXS Pro 15* Tensi Orange- Still honeymooning, but amazing off the tee and fairway, bad swings are punished though.

My most exciting find has been 620MB's irons, specifically PW, 9i but 7i at 150yds uphill.  It's like aiming and shooting at a target and the ball sticks.  Second best have been Ventus Velocore shafts.  They be keeping this ole man in the game.

PM Grind 19 wedge. Haven't had as much confidence with any other wedges as I have with this bad boy, 58°. Great for around the greens, can flight it high or low, sole and high toe are very versatile. Automatic out of bunkers. Don't think I'll ever go back to a conventional style wedge for my highest lofted club.

P790UDI. great for when I'm just trying to keep it in play, goes a country mile, and while mishits are punished more in the distance department than say a wood, they're not as punishing in offline potential. If you have the striking ability and swing speed to take advantage of a driving iron, I recommend giving one a try.

Accra i steel iron shafts and apex pro double dots.  Have been amazing for me since I got them a couple of months ago.  The shafts feel so smooth yet so stable.  It’s a nice change coming from modus.  Needed more weight but wanted to keep that smooth feel.

Bridgestone J15 CB. Wanted a bit more forgiveness vs my Miuras and a bit more cushion through the turf (Miuras take pelts and can be tough on wrists). Shot -1 first round with them without even taking them for a range session first. 15/18 greens.
