TS2 3 wood. Was a 4 wood guy until I found this, perfect launch, spin, goes for miles and doesn't get too unruly. Single best equipment upgrade I've made all year.

First place right now is a used F6 Baffler I picked up. It has knocked a TS2 16.5* wood out of my bag for the moment. Shorter shaft helps a bit and the Chrome Elements shaft is pretty close to the Tour 65 stiff shaft in my G400 Max driver.

Second place is a Ping Glide 3.0 60* SS wedge I picked up in my red dot specs. I wasn't sure I could play 60* but this is a pretty easy swinging club and saved a couple holes for me just in the last 24 hours.

Has to be my Ping G LST driver with Tour 65 shaft. Long, forgiving, consistently hitting 80% fairways with it. Just so comfortable hitting it that I don't even have to think about it. Like the other 50+ drivers that have been in my bag it has been up against many drivers looking for incremental improvement and I've finally just stopped looking as nothing has been better.

Putting a 5 wood back in the bag.

I had been playing driving irons for a while (u65 and u510) but randomly picked up a 917 5 wood and couldn't be happier. It has been a game changer for tight tee shots or par 5 approaches.

I've been curious about these, but haven't found anywhere where I can checkout the different sizes. What would you say your hand size generally is for the XL's to be comfortable?

Well I don't wear a glove but of I did it would be a large.  I tried the small medium and XL Jumbomax's and the XL just feels best to me. But I do use the DeChambeau 1-plane swing method and put the grip in the palm of my hand and not the fingers.

As far as a random pick up, I have to say the used ts3 3 wood with the T1100 evenflow white shaft has been a game changer for me.  I've struggled finding the right 3 wood setup for several years and finally found something that not only works but really allows me to work the ball in a variety of ways.

For me it is a Callaway x-forged 3 iron that replaced my 3 hybrid. It may seem odd but I am not kidding!  The miss of the 3h can be 30 yards left or right with little or no distance loss - which often cause lost balls; the miss of 3i is 20 yards left and right AND 20 yards short - most times I can chip and putt to still save bar or birdie par 5.

I broke my old cobra t-rail baffler 4 wood and replaced it with a Ping G400 5 wood. My approach shots from par 5 fairways and tee shots on short par 4's has really improved.

    • Sony Open Pics from January 11, 2022 Part 1
I was able to get out to the Sony Open today to take a few pics.  I guess due to Covid precautions they kept the spectators pretty far from the players.  Also due to camera restrictions they've put in place, I wasn't able to bring the big lens like I normally do. Hopefully they'll ease up on the ropes and I'll be able to get more pics tomorrow!
