I did talk to him a couple times and he’s actually the one that quoted me a possible two month turnaround. The rest of the communication was through Steve though.

My putters now all have 3-4 month turnarounds because I have them plated with copper. Byron has always been clear with me that it could be longer depending on when he has enough heads to send to get plated.  I've always been good if the time takes longer.  His work is worth it.

Have never seen nor heard of any - on this forum nor elsewhere.  He did a few belly putters back in the day (center-shafted, I believe).  You see one of these pop up from time to time.  I assume they are heavier heads to account for the long shaft/counter-balance...

Cool...thanks.  Was thinking long neck too.  I am experimenting with counterbalance and armlock.  If it works out, LN DH89 might be the ticket.

Historically, 330 grams is not "light".  For example , to win most of their Majors, the putters used by Jack Nicklaus and Tiger Woods had head weights of approximately 318 grams.

Yeah, I play them at 37”. So any heavier the swing weight gets up there and distance control is tough. I also love the feeling of a lighter overall weight putter. 
 

and there’s a line on the top line of both with the paint removed. Just like a little mark for ball position.

Love them all, John.  Great collection !!!  Especially great to see those x11s (611, 711, DH11), my personal favorites....

John has a terrific collection of Byron Morgan putters, possibly one of the best.  I was fortunate of seeing a few of these back in 2014 at Sand Ridge Golf Club near Cleveland, OH.  I love the collection of copper billet putters.  They're all fabulous!!!

The x11 have a great feel.  All SS with nice milling and black PVD finish to be durable.  The 611 on top feels the best to me with the deeper milling and a matrix ozik shaft.

Most of these I had to wait a good while on to get them in hand.  Anywhere from 1 to 6 months.  Got some from Steve and others direct.  The exceptions would be those I got in 2010 at the putter head event that were there finished and waiting to be purchased.

 

I can take better photos of any of these if anyone is interested while I still have them out. Just LMK if there is something you want to see and I’ll try to take a better photo.

Byron doesn't do a Mid-Slant correct? I assume he'd use a long pipe to get the same results?

I've seen a few Byron slant necks (but not many).  There's one on eBay right now - a 611 redone that was not too long ago posted here - https://forums.golfwrx.com/topic/1817959-byron-morgan-611/

I’m pretty sure he can make whatever you want.  It’s just that special orders take more time.  I have one or two long pipes.  I think a slant neck could be similar depending on how it’s bent.  This one is set up for a face balanced putter.

I checked his site and he does have Slant neck listed so looks like he can do it. Would really depend on my mood but I'd just be picking from Slant, Rincon or Short Pipe for my neck options. But no rush for me I wouldn't mind a LH 620 and I don't think they're out yet.

I have a custom in the works now. Should be another 6 weeks or so. I cannot wait, worked up the rendering myself so assuming I made it super easy for Steve.
