Fall Golf Just Amazing

I agree fall golf rocks. I am playing tomorrow as well. When leaves start falling will have to switch out usual yellow ball. I don’t mind the weather and am cold blooded. Only negative is accepting how far the ball is going to go. Enjoy it all. Great pic at Okemo.

Love this time of year for golf. Cooler temps, hopefully quicker rounds and great scenery. Played yesterday and it started out colder (high 30s) but warmed up nicely.  Can't wait to play again.

Living in North Carolina, I love fall golf. I actually love winter golf as well, Bermuda rough is dormant and cut low. I can hit my drive all over the course. Lol.

My favorite time of the year to play is Fall.  Second favorite is winter, as dormant, rolled bermuda greens get stupid fast.

Favorite season except for losing balls in the leaves and all the leaves on the greens.  Usually less crowded with golfers' focus turning to watching football, but not so much this year.

@ Gsea that picture is from Tuesday. In 2019 the golf season was done by the 3rd week of September.😢

The low sun is tough, too. Can only see your ball if you walk past it and look backwards...

Worst than leaves frost delay, screwed the tee sheet up big time Sunday.  Worst part people leave their house scrape off the windshield and the are amazed there is a delay when they arrive. Our all time favorite is , how long will it be? Wait let me check with the weather gods.

I've played in single digit Fahrenheit cold.  Hazards are frozen over so it changes how I can play some holes.  Plenty of roll on the fairways and I don't get stuck behind a slow group.  Perfect.

We're high 80's this week and next week is mid 70's. I think the heat is finally gone. I'd rather play in the heat than the cold though.

It was a bit chilly at 45°F today in NJ. Was 70°F yesterday.  The swing was very stiff today and didn't loosen up until the 14th hole.

We have the same conditions here. It's fine until the fairways get wet and seem to stay that way for months on end. I start aiming for the rough so I might catch a decent lie!
