I love fall golf, I enjoy the cool crisp air, blue skies, the leafs changing.

Picture perfect day at Taylor Meadows in Taylor Michigan of Friday Oct 23rd.

 

A lovely morning of golf.

 

 

Despite being aired a couple weeks before, the greens were smooth and running really well.

Taylor Meadows again on Oct 25th, playing the Chili scramble, it was 39 when we teed off and 49 when we finished, unfortunately it was overcast all day long and the wind was blowing like crazy, I think they say the feel was on the low 30 to the high 20s, a miserable day of golf, but it is better than being at work.

Here in Tennessee the weather is great right now. The high was 73, and the same tomorrow. Played 21 holes of golf after work. Had to take 2 hours off, but it was so worth it.

Another round today, feeling a bit like a golf ho. Front nine was horrible, but rebounded and shot 40 on the back, not bad. I have no idea where that came from. I am resting tomorrow.

Playing Veterans Day, and it will be wet and cold. Hopefully the rain will move on?

As long as I have 2 out of 3 of these factors in my favor I am still making it out there:

 

Less than 10 mph wind

50 degrees or higher

Sun

 

Fall golf means FedEx Championship for me and the boys. Gotta love this time of year.

So today I tie my best round ever, 39, and got my act together on the iron shots. But I am going to forget everything come March, arghhh! Just when it all comes together(driver?) I had a blast! Write notes to myself so I don"t forget, but not sure I will remember where I put them!

I was all alone for 9 this morning and 2 others showed up just as I was teeing 8. It was really nice to take my time, play a few different shots. 

 

Its still mid 40's here, so thermals and a hoodie and I'm good. I plan on playing all 4 days off since it's a rare dry stretch.

Walked nine today and the weather was low 50's, just perfect for walking. Walked up to the marshal 30 minutes early and he sent me on. Drives were just a bit short, but not bad at all. Couldn't time the irons, oh well, I tried.

Fall golf is just around the corner.  Here in Tenn we are having a temp drop and loving it. My health is back this week and played last Sat, Mon, and should play tomorrow. Almost there!!!

While it's hot in TX summers, it's not that bad if play early, and if play later at least heat keeps many away so can get around the course in a reasonable amount of time.

Great weather today in Connecticut.  Started the round early in the morning at 67 degrees and finished my round of nine holes at 69 degrees.  No wind.

It is not fall, but today was just amazing for golf. Started out around 60*F and warmed up slowly. Nice breeze blowing all day, how can you not like this weather.
