@TaylorMade Golf when will the embargo drop and it will be shown?

i understand that this is common practice, but it is not very forward thinking in todays digital era.

BTW: Hoping you guys soon can make the sim max (Fw) shafts interchangeable, instead of punishing us who needs forgivness..

It's just how the game seems to be played. TM won't even officially acknowledge the existence of the club beyond vague statements along the lines of "we're working on it", "you're gonna love it", etc.

Meanwhile wrx progresses from no one knowing anything to suddenly everyone having hit the club, seen pics of the club, shared pics of the club, etc.

Then they'll release the pics and it'll be 1-2 months before you can actually order it, by which time half this board will already have tour issue versions of it.

You can't win mate!

I actually am kinda digging it... just sent my SIM 1.0 in for Warranty (plastic fell out of the inside and crack in the speed track) and noticed that you can’t get certain heads any more off their site... wondering if this is what I’ll get back

You should have waited another month or so before sending in your driver for warranty.  You will probably just get another SIM since we are still pretty far out from the 2.0 release date.

I would have probably done just that except I m planning a trip to Bandon in a few weeks and wanted a chance of getting it back

So far, the only thing I don't like is all the blue, but if the color is customizable that shouldn't be an issue for anyone. It doesn't look like the weights interchangeable from the only pic I saw. I will be testing this against my SIM for sure.

When did they say they'd be able to ship you a replacement head? I submitted my warranty request for my SIM that broke bac on October 15th, and they said I wont get a replacement until November 23rd at the latest. Over a month to receive a replacement seems like a long time to me, but I don't know if that's historically how long it takes or not.

From the pics I have seen, it looks like both the front/heel and rear weights are user adjustable. On the SIM 2.0 flagship model I wonder if either or both of the weights can be moved heel or toe side. I’m sure heavier and lighter weights will be a given to help dial in launch, spin and swing weight. If the weight can’t be moved to alter ball flight bias there must be a tech story behind why not. My initial impression was this iteration may be a step sideways (like M2 to M4) however TM may have something up their sleeve that pics don’t show that makes the changes to the weighting system necessary.

No user adjustable weights on SIM 2.0.

Interesting. Forces a fitting to dial things in?

Exactly right!  It sounds like TM will claim that 80%+ of all golfers do not adjust the club once it has been fitted.  That’s what I was told anyways.  Obviously, that does not apply to us club ho’s on here...

A rep from another OEM told me the same thing. Interesting part was the 20% that adjust, do it constantly.
