This media embargo nonsense is laughable. There isn't a single new driver that hasn't been posted on WRX or Instagram or numerous other sources 100's of times. Trying to fight the way the internet works is a fools errand. Once the information/images are out there you just have to lean into it. Otherwise you look like a moron trying to put the lid back on the jar.

Loved my M4. It’s been my primary gamer since 2018. I liked M3. I didn’t care for M6/M5. My buddy has a SIM. I dont care for it either. The SIM seems to be fad biased and lacks feel. That stated, I've not had an opportunity to adjust the settings.
 

From a design, equipment technology standpoint, any of you equipment guys know why one would like the M4 and, to a lesser extent, M3 but not really like anything since?

 

Also, what about the SIM2 line would appeal to a user of the M4 9.5* set to higher setting?

I think it’s the fade bias that makes it a bit different from the M line. Works for some not for others.

I commented earlier in the thread but... now I've seen a few more pics of what they might look like, imo I think it looks good with the colors Ryder Cup European colors not too flash as the Nike's were but will still put some people off. Just a little concerned about the carbon cracking which is why I've kept away from the SIM so far and I'll stick with my Nike Covert for a few seasons to come yet ^_^

Interesting that the weight on the Sim is located closer to the heel than the neutral weight setting of the original SIM.

Yikes, not a fan of that at all. I don't like what looks like lines now in the chalk paint top line and that blue looks like it was put on with a Hobby Lobby paint pen... Hopefully it looks better in person or with better photos, and I pray I can change that blue to something else...

I'm not sure exactly what you mean by "padding the pocket", but unless one party or the other has been cheated, you honor your agreement.

It really is just that simple.

Meaning they’re paid, agreed thru a binding contract , whatever you wanna call it!! It’s like when GD equipment  comes every year, the top paying folks ALWAYS win, whether it’s on the shelf yet if not. It should just be a “Tour” section instead of Tour/ Pre-Release! Soon as someone leaks a photo it’s pulled. C’mon, let the consumers see what’s coming to the table, but then again there wouldn’t be much hype around it all I presume.

I admit I'm a little confused. You sound like you agree in principal with the structure of an agreement.

 

But then you say "let the consumers see it" when the photo gets pulled, NO DOUBT because of the agreement.

 

Or is it the section such information is in that upsets you ? Or the releasing company's objection to displaying said equipment before THEY want it to be seen ?

Apparently the "Neutral" or center setting on the original SIM was actually slightly fade biased because of the weight location on the rear of the club. So by keeping the rear weight in the same location and offsetting the front weight towards the heel the SIM2 standard should be more "neutral" than the original SIM.
