I was being facetious. You'll get the velocore. TM just gets an order and that order, unless edited by the retailer, said velocore.

Just put my trusty 17m2 3w up against both sim2 fairways. Old faithful wins another battle. Every TM fwy since the 17m2 has lost. This test was my gamer shaft in all 3 heads.

You need to just quit even trying with that club. I have made the mistake of replacing a good 3 metal for my swing and thinking I had. It works for a while but you'll always regret it if you get rid of old faithful. The most difficult club in the bag to find the right one.

Oh it's not going anywhere. I have a backup at home too. I just try it against new TM stuff every year. That year, that club, for me, is just phenomenal. And I happened into it by picking it up off a used rack because it had an exotic shaft that I planned to sell.

Was this a website glitch? I read about it, but when I would try to add the Velocore shaft it would increase the price.

They already fixed the glitch. I was able to buy the Max/Velocore combo with no upcharge a few days ago. Hopefully it works out as this combo was great the few days I had it with me.

Fyi on the fairways...the sim.max 3wood is adjustable on the fitting carts. Makes me think the next iteration of fairways will both be adjustable hosel...

This is incorrect. They gave fitters the ability to change shafts that is all.

We're talking semantics here. The sim max on the fitting carts has a removable hosel so shafts can be swapped. Maybe not adjustable and would make sense since you can't order sim max 15 delofted or lofted up. 

 

My point was you can test sim max with all the adapter bonded shafts or a gamer shaft you prefer.

My sim2 with the upgraded velocore status updated to preparing for shipment with an arrival date of 1/29. Maybe they will honor their mistake... props to them for that. I just assumed they would cancel the order.

That's wild considering the release date isn't until 2/18. Was your card charged? Just entered mine in (Sim2 Max 9' Ventus Black Velocore 6X) and it threw a "check back later" error.

They charged my CC for Driver and fairway with Ventus Black Velocore hoping thats a good sign....

Mine also says preparing for shipment with a 1/30/21 date.  Oddly enough my card hasn't been charged yet.  Still a lot up in the air here, especially since these were just a pre-order.

For those ordering through Taylormade website, how do you request no tipping? The custom page has "Standard" and then an adjustment of +/- 0.5 to 2" or something like that. Do I just enter -1" (soft)?

1” soft means untipped

If “soft” isn’t an option, it comes built untipped
