What the heck man!? I ordered the SAME setup on 1/19 and mine still shows preparing for shipment. (which it has said the whole time)

I wouldn't worry too much about it.  It's still 2 weeks before the expected release after all.  Personally, even if I got mine tomorrow it would just sit in a corner with all the bad weather on the east coast.

Only able to hit SIM2 in a simulator so far but I think it feels really forgiving. SIM is the best driver I've ever been fit into but my miss is lower on the face and sometimes those were punished. If I get just a little bit of that extra forgiveness on those hits it's going right in the bag. Will do more testing when I can get outside but that'll be another month or two here in the Midwest.

Just wait a couple months.  All the people who did the GG deal for free upgrade to Ventus will be dumping their heads and keeping the shaft.

I was thinking the opposite since Ventus shafts seem to sell pretty fast on BST.

Haha I have a hzrdus rdx blue waiting for the head. Might just buy the whole club at the local golf mart I have store credit at. Just give whatever shaft in it to a friend.

If you go back upthread, I believe that Golf Galaxy was taking preorders for 2-3 days in January with no upcharge for upgraded Ventus Blue 6 and 7 w/Velocore.

I went RDX Black 70 but I will end up selling it (figured it would have the most resell value).

 

Will likely go with my Trusty Evo IV 661 or Speeder 661TR.  The TR is a unique shaft, I only have 1 round in with it but it was accurate and long with great feeling.

The Torque isn't as low as you would think but I'm sure if follows the Hzrdus Black theme which is always a little stout.

Really surprised TM isn’t offering the 60g as stock vs 70g? Did they swingweight adjust against the other stock offerings or am I missing something?

I went with the 70gr, not sure about SW but I hope they don't.  I Play my Diver 45" and will hotmelt it to get the head to about 198 so my 661's will turn out D3/4

Nevermind lol! The 60 gram is 59 grams! And the 70g is 69g!  No impact to swingweight at all.

Did a driver fitting last night, and got fitted for the SIM 2 10.5 deg.

 

I'm glad I did because, out of all the new driver heads I tried, sound and feel was best for me.

I hit the RDX Black 70 6.5 in Sim2 at the range last week and it felt MUCH softer than the OG Hzrdus Black or Yellow in 6.5 (I don't have any experience with Smoke). Profile was a lot smoother overall and it will fit a wide range of golfers but definitely much more of a S+ than an X, especially within the HZRDUS lineup

I agree with this, I demo'd the sim2 max with that shaft and was pleasantly surprised with how smooth it was in driver. I play it in my 4W as well
