Ha ok.  I was told 3/30 for me because of the 8* head out of stock.  Looks like they are getting a big shipment of stock in the next few weeks, assuming these dates are accurate.

Happy to report that my Sim2 Max 9' Ventus Black 6X is shipping out today. My wife will be the first person to see it as I'll be in Scottsdale on a golf trip...

Got my Sim2 9* head and wow this driver is suuuuper solid.  It has noticeably better sound and feel than my Sim.  Improvements on off center strikes...and particularly strikes high on the face.   Not sure if thats due to a larger surface area.  At address, I think the shape is more compact, it actually reminds me a little of the M5, but much improved.  Now that I don't have a weight track, did i ever really need one?

Have not played around with the SIM2 Driver a whole lot yet but the SIM2 Rescue has been a treat so far. I'm beyond impressed with this club. I have not played a hybrid since High school but I decided to give this club a go.  It goes one direction and that is straight. 2 range sessions and 1 round with it and its becoming my favorite club in the bag.

Just received my SIM2 10.5 w/ HZRDUS RDX blue 6.5. Looking forward to taking it out early next week! Have never swung that shaft but the TXG guys made it sound like a winner. Ended up canceling my GG order this week when I checked and the club was still over two months out from shipping.

Ordered my SIM2 driver and 3 wood on pre-order. Both with Ventus blue. Still haven’t received them. Checked with the pro. Told me they moved the ship date back to 3/16. Hoping that doesn’t get pushed back again. I’m not mad as I know this is an industry wide thing. Figured I would just see if others that are receiving theirs ordered before 2/15.

Ordered on 2/15 and still haven’t gotten any definitive date.  Was told mine will ship on 3/30 but I’m expecting that to change honestly

I went with UST  Lin-Q purple 70g with 9* max D. Not sure why I went D...It felt great and loved the flight during the fitting. But I have never ever wanted to own a Draw bias driver or even swung one. 
 I dont know much about shafts but again I went by feel.  Im def worried bc all the talk around here seems to

be around the Hzrds shafts which I wanted. But the numbers with this setup worked best for me. It was a $150 upgrade though. 
 Is the Lin-q a decent shaft?????

Just called TM for an update on my driver and 3 wood. Both due to be ready to ship April 16th. The Sim2 driver delay is related to the HZRDUS Smoke Black RDX shaft and the 3 wood is delayed due to the head. Went with the Sim2 Ti 3 wood in 15*. Ordered the driver the last week of January and the 3 wood the last week of February. Figured I'd give those in the same boat as me an update. 

 

Going to play Harbor Town in 2 weeks. Have fitted i210's due to be delivered April 5th and these two clubs due the week after. Woe is me.

My Sim2 just arrived with the wrong shaft. I ordered the Graphite Design Tour AD XC and it came with the Tensei White (nonupgraded version). truly disappointing after waiting 30 days just for shipping.

Just received my sim 2 Max. Ordered from GG w/ the ventus black Velocore shaft. The screw on the top is not fully recessed though and I think I saw this issue with someone else on here. Will GG swap out the head at one of their stores? I don’t want to have to go through the TM customer service side if I don’t have to. Thoughts? 

If I’m wrong and this is normal let me know that too but I don’t think looking at others online.

I would just tighten it down yourself, save yourself the headache of having to go through anyone. The necessary torx bit is easy to get ahold of, or you could break off the little metal piece in the center and use a standard hex bit. If it is stuck in place from any Loctite then give it a little heat with a hair dryer.

For reference, my Sim2 arrived earlier this week. Was ordered through my pro shop in the last week of January as a warranty replacement for OG Sim.

Not normal.  I repeat what the other gentleman said earlier and do it yourself..Bc it will take them a while to get it right for you.  I would still call and see what they may be willing to do.

I have and i posted about it a page or two back.  I prefer the Sim 2...it just sounds and feels way more solid to me.  I did a side by side comparison.  The Sim 2 was improved on off center strikes (especially high on the face) and there were a few more yards in the tank.  The shape to me is also improved where the OG Sim looks a little stretched back when you put them side by side.  That’s being said the OG sim is still one of the best driver I’ve ever owned haha.  Both heads for me were 9* turned down to 8.

Im debating keeping my 10.5 or grabbing a 9 so that I can either go 9 or 9.75 and not have to worry about a big leaky miss to the right since I’m normally 4 I to O.

numbers are with a sim2 9°, proforce V2 6F4 ( a bit to heavy much for my liking)

 

ss is around 96.

spin avg. 2700rpm (i cant get nothing under 2500. sim2 is just the most forgiving for me.

carry 205meters/224 yard

launch 15°

smash 1.41

 

any suggestions???

Stiff flex I believe it weights 66-67grams. Something like that

I'm very impressed with the SIM2. Hotmelted 4g and 10.5 turned down to 9. Love the sound and feel - feels like a hammer. It's up against the TSi3 right now which has an RDX Blue in it. SiM2 has the ventus blue. Actually enjoy the feel of the RDX so I am going to try that on the SIM and see if it kicks out the Ventus. Off the tee, they are neck to neck in distance, but I can go after the SIM without any fear of left. Have the RDX Blue coming in a 60 and 70 TX, so I'll test them all on course and on the Rapsodo to see who wins. 

 

On a side note, out of curiosity I built a Sim2 3 wood to match down the bag - 518 days! Ship date of Sept 7th... Crazy...

I just brought my OG Sim in for a warranty issue as well and was curious if they'll replace with an older head or the 2. Sounds like you got a 2??

 

I'm going to see if I can talk the shop into letting me take one off the floor since these wait times seem insane!!
