I placed an order on 2/20 as well, same thing with multiple delays. My feeling is we've already been pushed back so many times they've said screw it, decided to cut their losses with a couple pissed off customers, and will continue to bump us to get more recent orders out... I'm not optimistic about seeing my driver before May.

Really bad service/communication their part.

Put an order in for a LH Sim2 Ti 3w with Rogue Silver X and LH Sim2 3 hybrid with Tensei blue X on March 19 through the custom Taylormade Canada website. Was quoted April 14 for the hybrid and May 20 for the 3 wood. Both shipped today (20 days). Very pleased with the turnaround time and should receive them early next week.

Was surprised to see them coming from Tijuana and not Carlsbad, but I won’t complain! Upgrading from V Steel 3 and 5 wood with steel shafts that I’ve had in the bag for at least 15 years, so excited to see the performance gains!

Received both clubs yesterday. Very pleased with the turnaround time from Taylormade.

However, the build quality of the 3 wood leaves something to be desired. The shaft graphics are out of alignment with the grip and standard hosel setting by a significant amount. It seems that the shaft wasn't properly aligned when being glued to the adapter sleeve. I understand this has no effect on performance, but it is a little annoying when looking down on a $530 CAD club. The hybrid is fine, maybe slightly off but bearable.

I reached out to Taylormade Customer Service to let them know. I'm not expecting anything in return, just hoping that the attention to detail improves for the next customer.

That crossed my mind and if they come back to me with that, that would be great. I am just not sure that they would pure orders for free and without request, especially with current wait times what they are. Regardless, a very minor blemish that won't ruin an otherwise satisfactory ordering experience.

Now if only my G425 LST would show up to complete the top end of my bag...

Anyone bought the SIM2 Rescue (adjustable) yet?

I hit the #3 at a demo day with the Black RDX hoping to replace my 09 Rescue TP but hit it like a dog.....thinking of trying again with the AV Raw as I’m thinking the RDX may have been a bit boardy for a hybrid when I want a higher flight....nowhere seems to have any stock though!!

Honeymoon period is over. 14/14 and 13/14 FWs on my first 2 rounds with my SIM2 Max with the regular Ventus shaft. But I'm still hitting it farther than my M5 and getting good accuracy (about 10 FWs per round). After about a month with my new SIM2 Max I am 100% happy with the results even after that initial honeymoon period. I would not go back to any other driver that I've owned in the past. Just a great piece of tech if you ask me.

I was seriously thinking about switching out to the AV white proto 2.0 for my SIM 2.  Decided to stick with my Ventus Black because it just works for me.  What do you like about the shaft?  I've had differing opinions on both shafts.  I had a guy tell me the AV proto will bring launch down but the spin would be the same.  Another guy said that the shafts are very similar launch and spin and it would be meh to make the switch.  I will probably stick with the Ventus Black though because my launch angle is where I think it should be, but the club ho in me.........

i don't like kick...ever. and for me the ventus wanted to kick a little through release. the av 2.0 is one piece for me and linear in how the power comes through the shaft and into the head through impact...i know where the face is more with that than the ventus.

i really wanted to like the ventus too b/c my buddy has one. just didn't get on with it at all.

I got the 19.5 turned down to 19. Black RDX 6.5. It’s a pretty robust shaft for sure, but I’m starting to get a handle on it!

I’m in love with my SIM2 and Ventus Black.  So stable; and the feel....... reminds me of all the nostalgic memories I have of a 975D with an EI70 only better.

I’m gaining confidence every time out.  I really liked the SIM; but the neutral bias of the SIM2 fits my game so much better.

Received my sim2 titanium 15* fairway yesterday in uk 2 weeks from custom order to receipt not bad  px hzrdus smoke blue 70 6.5 shaft i don't think i'm a fan! it only wants to go left and feels very soft ventus black going in a 60x i think!  it does look very nice just the shaft is not a good fit for me it seems launches way to high spins to much and likes the lefty lefts

I was quite disappointed with the SIM 2 rescue 5&4. They area good 12 - 15 yds shorter that my 5&4 TM GAPR HI with KBS shafts. The SIM 2 rescues are stock Ventus. I have retired them already and reverted to the GAPRs.
