Those look sweet.  Would love to try out both the 9X or 10X Blue or possibly Black.  Only issue is the SIM hybrid is a glued head so I would have to try it in my PXG head.

Agree.  It would be nice if SIM hybrids had an adapter and were easy to experiment with different shafts

Only bad thing about that hybrid.  Besides that I think it’s the best hybrid TM has ever made.  Can’t wait to try the Ventus in a Sim.  I guess I’ll wait for one to pop up on the BST.  Being WRX- shouldn’t take too long. LOL

I just got my sim hybrid 19 with Ventus blue 9x from peoples clubs out on the course for a couple rounds. @willpeoples crushed it on the build, and this combo is insanely good. Lower flight than my Tensei blue 80x, much more control. The 80 was too light and caused timing issues. The Ventus blue hybrid matches the feel of the driver shaft perfectly.

I just put the blue in play. I was thinking about the black but I like the feel of the blue and it. Is giving me really good numbers with my gapr.

I know on the Fujikura website it says the tips of these can be tapered down to fit info taper tip utility heads. Has anyone given it a try yet? Thinking of putting one in and HMB

Sorry if it’s already been asked, but is there a reason why Blue has “X” flex as stiffest flex, but Black has “TX” as stiffest?

Put a 80x Blue in my P790 UDI and bent it to 19 degrees, Trying to make the UDI little more than just a tee bomber all i can say is WOW from the stock Smoke Black this shaft is so nice, Can hit it high/low with very good control. Went lighter had the 100 6.5 smoke and it felt like swinging a steel pole 80x Blue is a dream. Now i want to try one in my driver!

I would love to start a topic or get someone's input on the differences between the Ventus Shafts, the new GOST Modus shafts, the TOUR AD shafts, and the new KBS Proto shafts in UDI, Fairway Wood, and Driver clubs! What do you guys think?

These shafts look game by the way! So pure.

A blue TX would turn into a black as it would be stiffer in the handle section (like the black is) and flight would be lower. It would be a redundant SKU and the player looking for a TX would go for the black anyways. Hope that clarifies.

Got a 9X in JDs Clubs shop waiting for a Sim 3Hybrid head.  Cannot wait to try this thing....my former hybrid PXG first gen w an Atmos black was the longest standing club in my bag at three years (sadly, a long time for me).

I've switched to the Ventus Black 6x in my driver, and the 7x in my 3 wood this year, and I've been really loving both of them. My driving iron still has the stock HZRDUS Black 6.5x in it, and it's fine, but I'm really thinking that it would be awesome to put one of these in it to match my other long clubs. I'm thinking the Black 9x would be a good fit for me, but it is a 17 degree driving iron, so my only concern would be if that wouldn't launch high enough, especially off the ground. I wonder if the 10x Blue might be a good option?

Great to hear black is working well in your woods. Blue definitely will add a bit of launch as it is softer in the handle and mid section.

stiffer tip, lower torque, better control. Ultimately more stability in the head through impact off tee or turf for an overall better performing shaft for hybrids & utilities.. The Blue VENTUS HB 8-S will have a slightly softer handle than your ATMOS TS, but by no means does that translate to the shaft feeling soft overall. Hope that helps.

Looking at getting some of these for my utility irons. 6x black in driver and 7x blue in fairway.

 

Was thinking blue 9x for 2 iron and 10x for 3 iron ? anyone played around with the different weights in different lofts?

Have the black 6x in driver and a 75g shaft in my 3w. Really enjoying the weight of the 9x in my 3 iron, which is essentially bent to a 2 iron loft (19*). Think the 10x would have been a touch too heavy for my preference.

I’m in the same boat. I want to try the black 10x but scared the weight will be too much.

Also curious about this, I am thinking of putting one in a Srixon ZX 2 iron.

Has anyone paired the Black 9TX or 10TX with the new Callaway X Forged UT? I just ordered the 21* UT (bent 1 strong to 20*) with Black 9TX without demo'ing the exact set up (love the head and shaft separately), but want to see if anyone has feedback while I anxiously await delivery and a proper test run
