New Puma shoes?

What is the major difference in the Ignite Proadapt vs the Proadapt Delta?  The sole is obviously different but from a functional standpoint which one is supposed to do what?

I have a preference but could live with either.  I am looking at the all black so color-wise they are almost identical.

from what i've read of earlier reviews is that the delta have a more cushioned midsole.

You think that makes a difference?  I don't typically find myself wishing for more cushion in shoes in general let alone the more athletically designed golf shoes made of late.

for some people it does, myself included, for others not so much or even detrimental.

i prefer my sneakers(tennis shoes to you southerners) to be of the max cushion variety but with some responsiveness(like nb 1080, nike infinity run, etc).  i also prefer my golf shoes to have some cushion as well, but still retain some stability.  so i do think too much cushion can be a bad thing for golf shoes as one can lose some power transfer, let alone a possible reduction in stability.  adidas codechaos sits right on the edge of almost too soft for me.  also, in general, there is a trend toward highly cushioned athletic shoes.

i personally don't get along with ultra stiff soled golf shoes like spieths, for instance, but i certainly understand the mechanics and possible advantages of power transfer with them for some golfers.

I bought a pair of Ignites in May 2021 and I really like them, but they aren't holding up. This wear spot is inside the heel area of one of the shoes. Less than 90 days old!

I've sent a message to Puma and hope they'll stand behind this product.

To Puma's credit they're shipping me equal value replacement shoes of my choice from their website.

Any feedback on the ProAdapt Mid's from folks?  I haven't been able to find them in my size to try on, but am interested.

I bought both white and black and they are very comfortable. Slightly heavier than I’d prefer but look good with shorts IMO. Soft leather and cleanup pretty easily.

I have never been a brand conscious person, although I did seem to have a decade of nothing but Etonics in the 90's because they fit me best. Anyhow, I recently picked up a pair of Puma Igtnite Pwradapt Caged shoes. They offer excellent lateral support for my weak ankles, which are prone to rolling over. A bit concerned about the durability of the design, but the support and comfort are amazing for such a light shoe.

I would like to grab a pair of these, curious how they fit compared to pwradapt caged.

Tried on some alphacats but had to try on the largest size available which was a 12. I wear a 13.   They may be comfy but couldn’t tell.   They look nice tho.

I just don't need shoes right now. My ecco hybrid 2s just simply won't break down. Not that I'm complaining. I just don't need more than 2 pairs of shoes. I'm sure they'll still be around when I need a new pair.

Same.   I have 16 pair right now.  Stupid.

If anyone gets a chance to try these on, would appreciate any feedback on fit, nothing close that has them in.

I have tried them, they fit very small. I have several pairs of Puma in size 11 but in these they fit very snug. Either need a half or full size larger. Carls Golfland, free shipping and free returns

Only ones I have are caged pwradapt, which are great but ran 1/2 big for me, had to go down 1/2.  Are they narrower in the toe box, or just run short?

Thanks
