plus that putter is in amazing shape for a 2008 line

that studio select line I still think is his best OTR line for quite some time

it's great that he went back to solid milled heads this year, but I still like the 08 select line better

Thanks. I agree, this model is beautiful and I prefer the non-insert heads. 
It'll be shipped away for a custom refinish right away though.

find a beater for the custom refinish.  the one ya got is pretty hard to find in condition like that

I've seen quite a few on the market here (Sweden), but none of them are in this good condition so you might be right. 
This might be a reason to find me another Scotty to make custom😬

I'm a big fan of this series, so I watch these guys lol

If you love this shape, pick up one of the ones youre seeing in Sweden and restore that.

Same here. I've had a Newport 2 and Squareback of the same series before and I prefer them to many other series.
I traded this Scotty + cash for my Spider X and I couldn't be happier about the trade I made.

I'll probably follow your advice since it's pretty easy to find cheap Scottys here, and we have a custom shop pretty close by

that's quite a difference in putter styles, spider x vs this 1.5 neck

what’s the difference in the Short Slant SpiderX which has 3/4 offset and this one which has the same offset?
