Happy birthday to Annika Sorenstam!

 

One of the greatest golfers ever and the most brilliant mind of pro golf. We miss her on the course and loads of amateur golfers have her as an ideal to follow.

You’d think she would make an appearance here and there competitively especially now that her kids are older.

Still one of my favourite all time players.  Followed her around Sunningdale for Women’s British and it was a joy to watch her game (and her use of the 7 wood which should be a message to many of us).

She just decided to. She’ll tee it up at the Gainbridge in a few weeks. Pretty neat!

Very, very excited about this.  There wasn’t enough coverage of her on the PNC and it will be great to see her out there again.  Hope there is UK coverage.

Agreed.  When my swing is off my mental thought is “swing like Annika”.

Micky Wright may

have had the best swing ever...male or female.  Annika tried to skirt rule book too many times on the course for my liking....and she also mysteriously got python arms seemingly overnite...and her complexion mysteriously got bad at the same exact time.  Just throwing it out there....as others did at the time.

Saw enough of her workout regime on tv and in magazines.
