...Happiness in golf is playing with good friends on a course with no houses.  I love the feeling of playing a track that just feels like it was dropped into nature.

Hearing the ball rattle in the bottom of the hole after a great putt and getting to play the game i love 😊 bring back pre covid course set ups ie normal holes again and i will be a happy golfer ⛳️🏌🏻‍♂️🏌🏽‍♀️

Happiness for me is having zero expectations before a typical Sunday morning round and finding myself +2 or better making the turn. 

Something to be said for feeling happy on the 10th tee that promotes better scoring.

Happiness for me is having a good back nine after scoring well on the front side. Our back nine is tougher than the front. I often shoot 43 or 44 on the back after shooting 38 or 39 on the first nine. My best round so far this year I shot 38 on the front and 39 on the back  That was a good day.

lately it has been my pup ( Great Pyrenees ) laying her head on my lap for a head scratch.   
 

I miss walking rounds alone with the course to myself.  It’s been over a year since that happened.   Too long.

Happiness to me is flushing every iron shot. I dont even care if i hit the green, as long as i flush it. Something about that sound makes me enjoy the round soooo much more.

What transcends the happiness of a golf experience?   Perhaps an afternoon conducting a heuristic evaluation, followed up by brushing up on the terms of falconry and then taking a fresh perspective of an existing scrimshaw collection.

Happiness is a plate of Fried Chicken, mashed potatoes with milk chicken gravy with all the things in it that stuck to the frying pan, green beans with bacon fat and bits, and stewed Jonathan apples sliced thin. That my friends in real happiness when made by the only woman who loved me for who I am, my mom. Hope my wife doesn’t read this.

Yup, that swing when you feel nothing, full release and don't even notice the contact. Pure bliss.

Happiness is a warm sunny day on the course with my Kid play a great round of golf. Where the kid plays great but i still squeak out victory.

For me, given family, work and all other time commitments, happiness is teeing it up on the first tee, standing over the ball, and knowing for the next couple of hours, it's all good.
