Meeting men

As already mentioned, spend more time on the range.  This will solve 2 issues:  You get to spend time working on your game, which you probably need since you're a beginner.  Plus, men are more likely/ willing to strike up a conversation and/or give you some tips on the range versus on the course while in the middle of a round .......

As mentioned above, I would spend more time at the range.  But not just any range. If you can, I would join a private club.  I've played golf all my life but I've met more playing partners since joining a club and the range is where I've met most. While I've not been looking for a romantic interest, I think that the benefits of a private club translate perfectly to what you're looking for.

Some of the benefits are;

You already have something in common ( The club)

The range or putting green is a great hang out, you can ask for tips about the swing (if they suck at golf but you're interested in them, you can always ignore the tip, haha)

All clubs have a women's golf association and you may get intros through them

and best of all, if you hit it iff with someone, just head to the grill and get a drink.

Good luck with your quest!

I’d seriously consider online dating, tinder, bumble, hinge, match, etc. I met my fiancé on tinder.

i think I’m today’s society, (not just covid, but the Wussification of men) you’ll be hard pressed to have the nice, genuine man approach you at a golf course (most of us are running late for tee times and don’t have time (or the balls) to strike up a genuine, real conversation with a woman we see on the range. And, some of the men you would probably be attracted to (not physically) are not going to want to disturb you if they see you on the range. Maybe you’re working on something? Maybe you’re meeting someone there? Maybe your boyfriend/husband/date went to the bathroom. In passing, they might take notice of you, but won’t come over, because they’ve made a fool of themselves before trying the same thing. It will take multiple days of you being alone on the range, and multiple times of someone seeing you alone, before they come up. If in person meeting is a must for you, (therefore no online dating) then you must play the long game, and maybe in multiple spots.

I supremely hope I’m wrong, as I’m a traditional romantic at heart.... but I agree with the people before me, a private club is your best bet, although it is very limited pool of people. You may have to try a couple....

You have a club with 400 members, 325-350 of them are men, 50% of them are married, 10% of them are alcoholics and not worth your time, 10% are happy being single, 10% are too young, 10% are too old.... you see what I’m getting at?

good luck.... I hope you find him.

Lord knows I’d love to see more woman on the golf course and around the pro shops.

I met my now wife on Match - virtual seems to be the norm, especially with how unapproachable / unavailable most people are these days (health and safety).

I felt funny 6 years ago telling others that I met my better half online, but now it's "oh I know a friend that met their spouse online as well" etc. etc.

Looks like OP started this a few months ago, so best of luck!
