Adidas Golf 2021

I agree with this.

The LightStrike cushioning is a much firmer cushion, but still can be very comfortable (I like their LightStrike running shoes).  The problem is the contrast to the Boost tricks your brain into thinking the LightStrike feel harder than it really is.  It's not a deal breaker for me, but others might get annoyed.  Having said that, if this was full length Boost, it would be a perfect.

Is there anything that is full length Boost? Are Codechaos?

I agree, the shoe line is disappointing. I refuse to wear any golf or casual shoes without Boost midsoles

I got both the TOUR360 XT-SL Spikeless Textile  & Crossknit DPR last year and they're both still available for now.

I prefer the looks of the former and comfort of the latter. Both look and feel great though.

The cross knit DPR are amazingly comfy.  That said I never bought any as I was afraid of the grip.  How is it?  Love them tho.  Would wear them casually i think.

I haven't had any problem with them. But, I'm a guy who played many rounds barefoot in my younger years so I guess grip isn't a huge priority for me.

Yes CC is full length boost as well as the last iteration of the Tour360 line(XT).

Very helpful thanks.

Anybody have any comparison opinions on the CodeChaos vs the Tour 360 XT (specifically the textile). In order of importance I'm looking for: comfort (I walk 80%+ of my rounds these days), waterproofness (it never rains in California, but I often play early when the grass can still be very wet), traction (it is important, but not at the expense of walking comfort).

I was interested in the new ZG21's but perhaps the full length boost is more important and so that has me leaning CodeChaos? ZG21s looks like they would have the best traction, but I'm worried a bit about comfort relative to the CC... Tour 360 Textiles look nice, but I'm not seeing in what way they'd be superior to CC.

If you walk a lot, CodeChaos all the way. I have both and walk in CC each time.   The best.

Does the ZG21 shoe have a fitted tongue or is the tongue free to slide and move around?

I wonder if they are on a two year cycle with the shoes. With no new codechaos coming out until next year. Which sucks. I was looking forward to getting some new white ones.

Is this confirmed?  It's not in their spring/summer catalogue,  but I'm holding out hope we see new CWs later this year.  It's very unlikely for adidas to just roll with the same CWs for 2 years.  Especially for a popular shoe.

For me, I rarely like anything from FJ these days other than the Pro S/L, which I think is a good line.

Puma, meh. Nike, fits varies from model to model, but have owned a few.

Ecco -- multi model year player of the BIOM line, although did not like the move away from the soles of the original. Not as much traction for me.

GFORE - Weird fit for me.

So that leaves Adidas, for me, the most consistent fit and designs. Always an 11, always.

Love the CodeChaos, love the 360 (for wetter days), and really like the ZG21 (on course scores will tell the tale, as to me, the shoe IS a piece of equipment, it either makes the bag or not).

So I guess I am a counter opinion to others, -- as I think that Adidas has the most consistent sizing and strong good looking designs of any large OEM.

pretty much my thoughts.   i love my codechaos and 360.  i wear 360 for wetter days or morning rounds and codechaos for most others.  i do love some old gripmores that are in like new condition that i wear in dryer times along with some ecco biom hybrid 3 boa.  the adidas are my favorites though.

Anybody have the Broken Stripe Polo? https://www.adidas.com/us/mesh-broken-stripe-polo-shirt/GM0239.html

Ordered both and neither have buttons for the collar.  Taking a close look at the pics on the website it seems like that's how it should be but just want to make sure.  A little strange.

Just happy to see new CWs.  Where did you find the pic?

I know there were a all black pair that was Europe only last year. These may have been them.

Had my first round walking in zg21 yesterday, and by far the most comfortable sole on a shoe with spikes I’ve ever worn.  Really loved them.  I’ve never worn an adidas shoe before.  Will be ordering a black pair too.

I do not understand why they have not released more codechaos shoes. I don’t want spikes. If there aren’t in the catalogs are they not releasing this year?

I have the same question. Looks like only the same three colorways as 2020. However everyone's out of stock on the Codes. Are they just dis-continuing the line?

The PrimeBlue CodeChaos were probably the most comfortable pair of shoes I bought last year.

I don't understand why the lack of just 3 colorways on the code chaos.  The white ones are the only one of the 3 that I moderately like but damn those things are comfortable, I'd love to have some more options!  I wonder if this model is going away, cause they do seem to be out of sizes everywhere.

I thought those looked awesome but also read that maybe they didn't have the same waterproofing as the regular ones?

That's certainly true.  The Primeknit material is more porous and they don't have that waterproof overlay layer over the first inch or so like the non-Primeknit do in some areas.
