Pouring rain all day so inquiring minds want to know.

This questions is for PING IRONS ONLY.  You get to pick one set of Ping irons from the very first ones to the latest. It is the only set you are ever going to get to play so these will be your gammers. What you choosing( and why)? If you don't want to play please don't waste the band width.

p.s. there are side bets riding on this question lol.

Good god. That's a tough question.

I wanna say S59's. No, wait, S55's. Maybe i20's (if they solved the plating issue). But, if I'm going to play them for the rest of my life, I probably need the original Eye 2's.

I think I'll settle on the i15's.

Whatever this was, I want a whole set of them:

If it's something that I actually have access to, Blueprint even though I'm nowhere near good enough to play them.

To only have 1 set it would be my I20's.  I picked up a set of 210's today and re-shafting them this week to see if they can truly replace them.

Ping I5's are still the most versatile iron ever made to me. For whatever reason i can't remember an iron of that size ever being so respected even amongst low indexes...yet you could also play it as a 20 index and no one would bat an eye

This post goes against everything right in the world and should be stricken from existence.  One set of irons for life?

I have played a lot of different Ping irons but probably would choose a set I didn't play....S55.  I loved my S56s and heard it was minor tweaks to the S56s to get the S55s and considering there are still guys playing them on tour it would be my choice.  Second choice would be i5 or i10, both were great irons.

Been playing G30s' since they came out. I'll probably stay with them until I'm done playing. They do what irons are supposed to do and feel good doing it.  I like the no ferrule look and this, I believe are the last of that style. My only worry would be losing a CTP and Ping not having any replacements in stock.
