Almost seems like the offset gets more the further down you go in the bag to the 7,8,9.  Might just be the loft/angle playing tricks but very interesting.

I’ve read some info and the plate on the back is interchangeable for fitters to adjust the swing weight for customs orders.  Similar for the MB and UT models.  From a looks point of view...For me I could care less what the back of the iron looks like, it only matters what it looks like at address. Pretty clean look and shape in the address pics.

I usually like Callaway irons but these don’t appeal to me at all.

Is that a changeable weight that is held in by the screws?  Interesting....wonder if it's the same size throughout the set? (I would think so).

My last set of X-Forged, the 2013 models, seemed to have a lot less offsets.  These seem to have lots of offset to my eye.  I guess you need to eyeball in person to decide.

I'll take a few screws on the back to get a big chunk of weight right behind the sweet spot.  I'm not 100% sold on the looks but I have a feeling they're going to be really solid feeling which will push me over the edge.  I also like that the sole is narrowed and they have a little less offset than the 19 Apex Pros.

I think PXG opened the door of "industrial look, exposed screws", which inspired PIng and Callaway to copy.

I hit these yesterday and there is a strange sort of offset on the CB's. Not bad but think they could have done a better job on em.  Feel and performance were fine, just an odd look to em.

I was going to say that might br a pw... but a relook and i realise thats maybe a 5 6 or 7 iron? A bit offset for a  players club or blade. Callaway sure does love its offset lately. I dont think offset is that helpful almost to anyone... its just a masking a issue with another possible issue... hitting left. Just a touch of offset is ok but alot is bad. Keep that in the sgi irons.

The previous X Forged were awesome. Was so close to purchasing them until I hit the JPX919 Tours. Will be curious to see if these stay in the bag. Xander jumping right to the next Apex Forged. Interesting.

They look good to me. Glad they did not try to please the no offset crowd. Irons without offset look strange to me and are harder to aim.
