1/4 Zip with wind protection?

Looking for a quarter zip with good wind resistance.  Would like a slimmer fit with quality fabric.  Open to any brand.  Thanks.

JP uses a mizuno windlite 1/4 zip with wool &cotton and for cooler temps a proquip aquafabric? 1/4 zip vest.   they are probably available in long sleeve too.

there are so many choices from just about every golf clothier...

 For JP it gets down to comfort for playing golf without the awful name badging that happens so often on some stuff and not costing $200 for an only sometimes thing.

The Footjoy lined sweater is phenomenal.  I haven't had the opportunity to purchase a Mizuno Windlite but I believe they are very similar in function and style.  I wear mine over a regular polo in the middle of winter and can still get a few beads of sweat going, no outside elements coming through.

Greg Norman clothing also makes a 1/4 zip with a wind liner in it and it works great

I found the Mizuno Windlite and Footjoy lined sweater to be too bulky and hot in all but 35 degree and lower temps compared to the Cutter & Buck version from 2 years ago with the same windliner.  It was slightly lighter, less bulky and just as effective particularly in the 35 to 55 degree range.   I don't think they still sell them though.    The other knock against the Mizuno Windlite and Footjoy from my perspective is that the Mizuno hasn't been manufactured in at least 5 years (to my knowledge) and so when you find it on ebay or in some golf shop it has typically sat there for years and is designed like something straight out of the early 2000s.   The Footjoy zip is like almost all of Footjoy's products, which still tend to be oversized 1990s looking styles unless you can find something in their Athletic line.   But, that's just my preference and it may not be your's.   All 3 work effectively, along with similar versions from Fairway & Greene and ProQuip.   I've heard people mention the Greg Norman version, but I've never actually seen one or worn one, so I can't comment.

Mizuno lined sweaters are great but agree they are really hot. 
I also have a few zero restriction windstopper 1/2 zips & a galvin green windstopper that are all great when it’s cool/cold & windy. If it’s in the 30’s or below with the windchill I’ll wear a Mizuno or my Norse jacket. If it’s 40’s/50’s & windy I’ll do one of the windstopper pullovers.

Ordered the Lindeberg Mathis sweater yesterday. It’s a knit sweater with coolmax and wind protection. Should receive it by Thursday. Will probably play a round with it in Saturday if it warrants it.

If still available, anything with GoreTex (Windstopper) is the best.  I have ZR and Sunice products and they're awesome.

I have a very nice lined sweater by Turtleson. The only issue is that it is so warm, I rarely get to wear it.

Bingo!  I have several ZR pieces made with Gore Windstopper material and they work great.  Various weights to get me through differing temperatures.

I've had them a couple years so I don't know what they are.  The inside tag does have a model number but they typically change every year or so.  I don't see Windstopper clothing listed on ZR web site but you can call them and see if they have any old stock left.  Or try Amazon or Ebay for "new in wrapper" pieces.
