Clearly Rickie isn't playing the zero offset model so maybe it does make a difference, isn't that why offset was invented? To make it easier, you want to make it harder just so you can say I play what Rickie plays?

Offset isnt “ easier and harder “ more and less.

is a fair point, but there aren't many zero offset irons on the market, clearly not by accident, if it was beneficial why don't Mizuno, Titleist, TM offer zero offset models

I am not sure offset is the reason he is not playing these irons.. I think the reason is he is a complete headcase at the moment.

agree he clearly has some issues, was simply making the point if you want zero offset find a set of rev33, i can't see the point if indeed they are going to offer an update to the MB/CB King Forged making them zero offset as well

I just hope they release them in the states.  They probably would not make my bag but I would love play around with them at the range.

absolutely agree, not having a go either. Not in this case so much but i see so many people comment about offset, "that iron has 3mm there is no way i could use that" just trying to make themselves feel special

“ zero “ isn’t any different in application than low. And most mb s are low.   It’s all in appearance.  Blueprint is as near zero I looks as it gets.  And that irons has exploded on popularity on tour.  Every ping staffer playing well  besides Westwood and Hatton are hitting them.  And these are guys used to ping offset.

Nope. It’s all in the looks.  Some irons have a decent amount but they don’t look like they do.  The hosel to face transition hides most of it.  And some claim none and yet they look to have some.   
 

im a guy who can love it in some wedges and hate it with a purple passion in long irons.  For a guy who hits a fade , it makes the shot harder.  For most it has zero to do with bragging.  And evyething to do with their experiences with that trait in an iron.

I completely agree with you on the look front, it is the number one thing for a lot of golfers, i still think there is also a stigma with some people that look at a spec sheet and decide it has too much before they see in person. Looking at the current CB/MB set they have a great balance, in my opinion it would be wrong to replace those with a rev33 copy (offset wise) as it goes from a solid compact iron to a knife, there are not many players who could hit the rev33 long irons.

What is the appeal of rev33 irons for you?  I’m honestly curious.  For me I want the lowest offset.  The small size is a plus.  Long irons is one of my strengths so i need a 3 iron and I might buy a 2.  You could just buy mizuno, titleist, tm...

My friend who I got the pic from confirmed that the set he has has onset. So probably zero offset like RF. Everyone’s eye is different. I’ll try and see him soon and snap some pics. He always has some cool cobra stuff. IE a Big Tour 3 wood with grooves.

These look so good. If they don't release I may have to go the National Custom Works route for a set. I love the way the hosel flows into the head. I had a set of Macgregor Don White grinds that I played for 8 yrs or so that I had the topline as thin as it could go so these seem perfect.
