2020 was a mess in general with everything pausing for Covid, he couldn’t get into any type of rhythm.  He is not going to be the TW of 2000 but as long as he has the desire to compete he will win tou

That would be a Yes

Looks like TW is contemplating a switch from his M5 3W to a SIM 3W, very interesting since he loves that M5

TM wants him to bag the SIM 3 wood so they can sell more SIM 3 woods.  I’m sure that M5 has the perfect shaft, goes the perfect distance, and flies on the perfect trajectory.

Then why not add 5w as well?

Similar reasons since the two clubs serve very different purposes. The M3 5-wood likely also goes the right distance with the right flight for him, and he is definitely one to stick with older model 5-woods.

He's looking skinny again, almost like he did in 2015. I'm sure it's by design to help the back, but I do wonder how healthy he is these days. I know Jack alluded to him 'hurting' at his Payne's valley event a few weeks ago.

Spot on.  Pro athletes in general, want to lose weight the older they get to help with joint issues.  Golf is no different.

I'm guessing it's the head size that makes it a no-go for him.  The M5 5W's profile is a lot larger than the M3.  He's said he likes a 5W from thick rough a lot of times, and I bet that size better fits the bill for him.  That, and with the TI, the M5 now probably now goes too far.

Side note that has no relevance to this thread, I have recently discovered a 5W from lush bermuda...and it's an awesome way to escape from that crappy stuff.  Wish I would have discovered that 15 years ago.

The crazy thing I saw in Trottie's video was that Tiger shifts the adapter around but does not change grip logo or shaft orientation to be perfectly aligned.

He actually said the the graphics / along with the grip graphics where not bc “he’s testing “
