Is it just me or does Hideki whine over marginally mediocre shots more than almost anyone? Wedge to 2' and he drops the club, or misses a 60' putt by an inch and drags his putter off the green

Anything less than a hole in one on every hole is considered inadequate by samurais.

Looks like Golf Channel might have mothballed the Tiger Tracker. Some people think that Golf Channel got too

big, but what the PGA Tour is doing to that channel due to the new TV deal isn’t good for the Tour or golf in general.

Yep, which is why whining about a good shot is known as a “Hideki” in the US. It’s called a Hatton-Rahm in Europe.

Could tiger be at some sort of decision between the practice reps he knows he needs and the concern about what they’ll do to his body?  Somethings up with him.

Whats up with Tiger is he won the Masters and now sitting around all day in front of TV watching reruns of the original “Love Connection” with a giant spiral ham in front of him.

I just edited the OP subject to reflect my feelings in the matter ; )

My thoughts exactly. I think he knows his reps are limited and is banking on the chance that he catches a hot streak for a week, rather than grinding out reps and potentially doing something damaging.

I wish he was playing better but I have faith he knows what he's doing. He's mentioned many times he wants to peak around The Masters and we are close to see if that will come to fruition.

Ha, maybe he’s missing the drowning in eager tail element.

I hope it does.  I hope he isn’t already at the point where he can’t even practice a fair amount anymore.  To have something given back to you and then taken away that quickly, that would be painful.  Tigers a grinder, I think he needs that mentally.

Maybe he needs to hang with Big John Daly.  Get a little gut going, and learn to go straight from the bar to the tee.

I’m guessing he knows he’s going to have bad weeks now. It’s probably why he seems to enjoy playing more than he used to. Obviously winning would bring the most enjoyment, but it’s obvious he doesn’t always have it like he used to and he knows it.

That being said, I’ll be waiting for a 64 tomorrow to slide into the weekend.

I feel Tiger has a "plan" in a way.

Basically he's only going to try and peak for the Masters and major courses where he thinks he has a shot. Everything else is basically him getting on a hot streak.

I don't think its an exact formula, but I think its a mix of not wanting to get injured, picking his spots, and knowing he only has so much left in the tank.

I guess, but Masters in 3 weeks!

It took him over a year of busting his butt and crazy focus to get to the point he could win on tour and then at Augusta.

Even Tiger can’t go out there, playing as lame as he is, and expect for it to all come together in 3 weeks!  There’s a bunch of hungry dogs out there gonna eat his lunch.

Well, first they eat his Masters dinner...then they eat his lunch ; )

2020 is a year of rest for TW. He just eatin, smilin, and staying warm. 2021 he better get serious.
