I would think they would be cast. These are SGI clubs.

The manual says the face of the iron is forged which is pretty common for a hollow body iron, then the body is 431 stainless steel.

Yes I also will blend the ZX4's with the ZX5's. 

Playing less so why not take advantage of the technology and make my golfing life easier!

My understanding is that Srixon will be releasing a game improvement iron sometime summer 2021.

 

I don't know the name, haven't seen photos or know the specs, but I believe the info I've been told so I'll be on the look out. As they are supposed to be more forgiving than the ZX5, it wouldn't surprise me if they are indeed called ZX4.

Wow...looks like Srixon finally went all in on strong lofts.  Gonna be hard to blend with 7s or 5s.

Depends on what you want to do. My first reaction was that it setup perfectly for a ZX4 5 iron blended into a ZX5 6 iron. Nice 4 degree loft gap. Then finish out with any combo of ZX5s or ZX7s.

Loft gapping seems ok, but that offset takes a pretty mighty jump.

That's true but you cant have it all. Consider the target market and who it is designed for. If you are not needing the offset, I'm sure you can get by with the forgiveness of the ZX5.

Can't imagine there are many people considering blending an iron set like this though outside of maybe using the 4 and 5 irons and then going zx5 the rest of the way.
