Ordered ZX5 5-A and added 5-6 in ZX4, just for giggles.

Where did you order from?

Sure, no worries. I just know, because I have actually held them in my hands. They are as you a say a hollow body iron. They are a classier, cleaner version of the launcher iron. At least to my eye.

Similar but a bit more classy I guess. They are srixon so a bit higher on the quality and R&D scale I guess is the best way to put it. I am sure there are some other differences in design and function. I saw them a while ago  and I don’t remember all the details.

Anything new or has anyone compared these to some other new irons?  Wondering how these will compare with the g425, apex dcb, hot metal/hm pro, etc.

I know it’s not a ton of help without numbers, and ymmv, but with respect to the Mizunos, I found the ZX5s to be essentially as forgiving as my old 919 HM pros (which I traded in for a ZX5/7 combo set), and basically as long while feeling much better, and the ZX7s to be similar in distance, while only a bit less forgiving but feel much much better (before dialing the 5s and 7s in with the shaft I wanted).

I can only imagine that the 4 will surely match the Mizunos in forgiveness and distance (for many players), but we’ll have to wait and see. If you’re coming from the hm pros though, you may be able to go to the ZX5 or even a 5/7 combo set and be fine in terms of forgiveness, especially with the v sole

And once again, no AW for lefties.  I appreciate that Srixon pumps out most of their iron sets in LH, but I don't understand why they refuse to give us a gap wedge.  I am sure that many of us would rather they drop the 4 iron, and just go 5-AW.  This is always the piece that keeps me from making an impulse Srixon iron purchase.  Rant over.  They look nice though, as do the others in the lineup.

Wondering about a ZXU vs ZX4 for 4 iron replacement at top of bag.

Same, I was thinking about getting some ZX5s this year and I'm intrigued by the ZX4s and really wondering how they will fit -- loft/gaping -- with the ZX5s. Was thinking getting ZX5s with a ZXU 4 iron, but maybe I'll end up with ZX5 7-A, and ZX4 4-6? Wonder if it will make sense to break at the 5 or the 6, part of that may come down to how much bending I'd need on a ZX4 5 or 6 iron to match the gaps down to the ZX5s.

They are on the Srixon website now.

Not changing my mind that I prefer a Zx5/ZX7 combo set with a utility for the 4 iron.

Interesting. Might have ordered a ZX4 6 iron if I had paid better attention. Might still, we'll see, I signed up for pre-order notice.

Yeah, I'm interested in a ZX4 4i to shootout with the ZX5 4i. 2i and 3i ZXU are rockets, maybe I grab a ZXU 4i and make it a true shootout?

ZXU looks a little better to me. ZX4 has a little more offset and you can see more of the back of the club. Launch and feel is pretty similar, but the Utility might spin a touch more.

These will be great for replacing the higher loft u85 utility clubs, too. I was wondering why they went from offering the u85 in 6 and 5 irons to only offering the ZX utility irons in 2/3/4.

Awesome news as I love my u85 6 iron and was for sure going to miss it in my ZX5 set.

I think I'll be joining Mark in adding the ZX4 6 iron.

Hello - Has anyone heard of a new set of irons from Srixon, labeled the ZX4's?
They are a spinoff of the Cleveland UHX Irons.
Thanks for your input and stay safe.

Crossfield has a review up on the YouTube now. They look ok, hollow body, P790ish but I don't find them as good looking.

Thank you. Spine might be the key. I looked at the lofts. Would deloft the 4 and take a little of the offset out.

I’ll look at the spin when I can hit both side by side
