Florida Resident rates are back for 2022. Discounts on lodging and all the courses as well.

I just got this email yesterday as well.  Looks like they raised the FL resident rate $20 over last year 👎

Looks like they’re also doing major aerification this summer compared to the previous.  May want to look at that schedule before booking.

Wow you are right very robust aeration plans on all 3 courses. I would guess the first and third rounds are smaller tines with big holes for the summer. We are set to go October 1 would that scare anyone with these plans?

Red will close Monday, May 16th – Wednesday, May 18, 2022 for aerification

Blue will close Monday, June 27th for aerification and reopen Tuesday, July 19
Red will close Monday, June 27th for aerification and reopen Wednesday, July 20
Black will close Monday, June 27th for aerification and reopen Friday, July 29

Black will close Monday, August 8th for aerification and reopen Thursday, August 11
Red and Blue will close Sunday, August 14th for aerification after morning play and reopen Friday, August 19, 2022.

Based on what I have heard it sounds like they desperately need it!

Just got an apology letter from the GM in the mail along with a voucher for future trip. Looks like they sent them to anyone who traveled in the couple months before they started discounting their rates.

At least they are taking these conditioning problems seriously and trying to reach out to customers.

Has made it much more likely I’ll book another trip there for 2023…

Happy to hear they are trying to make it right.  It always baffles me how some companies forget that good customer service/experience like this can be the difference in losing or retaining a customer.

My group just got back from a long weekend at Streamsong, and I wanted to share my first time experience - we had a great time. Hope this info helps some first timers.

  • Courses - played all three courses, really loved them. Mixed reviews in our group on favorites - I loved Black, followed by Red, then Blue. Amazing designs. The greens on Black are crazy!
  • Caddies - we rode in carts, and had a fore caddy. Had Trace on Red - nice guy, not very experienced, but entertaining and fun to be around. We had Rod on Blue and Black - top notch. Really knew his way around and quickly knew our games and made recs accordingly.
  • Bag Handling - at the end of your round make sure the staff tags your bag and they can get them moved to your course for the next day. Loved this so we didnt need to lug clubs to the room each night and they were waiting for us on carts the next day. Caddies are happy to help with this.
  • Accommodations - we just stayed in a couple standard doubles and the rooms blew me away. Very well designed. Well thought out storage. Had a min fridge - so we brought plenty of drinks and loaded it up. Nice couch for gathering. Bathrooms are great too. Well designed, high quality. Certainly not an afterthought to the golf.
  • Food - we did the Fin and Feather breakfast buffet each day and it was great! Love the omlette station. The bar was fun too at F&F and we hung there some nights watching hockey. Rooftop bar was fun and the outside deck is great for cigars and the views are amazing. Restaurant 59 Steakhouse was very mediocre in my opinion - steak not great. Bone Valley Tavern was amazing. Big variety and really loved the food. Overall, I expected we would get gouged on food, but we really didnt. Drinks will get you, but having some in the room was always good. On course halfway houses were a fun treat too - tasty drinks and different food options on each course.
  • Shuttles - running between Lodge, Red/Blue, and Black constantly. Always easy to find a ride around and the drivers are great. Never waited any more than 5 min - even later evening toward restaurant closing time.
  • Dont need to bring water/bottles - if you are in a cart, they are fully stocked; if walking, they have huge coolers regularly on course with water.
  • Pool is really nice option to chill post round. Theres a bar out there too and a chipping green floating in the lake.
  • Coffee maker in room with K cups and free coffee in the lobby every morning.
  • I read some earlier posts about lack of cell service, but I didnt experience this. I have Verizon and while it wasnt full bars, I had enough to make calls, get emails, and stream music. Great hotel wifi too.
  • Staff - cant say enough about them. Every person we engaged with was great. Very friendly and helpful. Everytime you walk by the front desk someone says hi - seems like nothing, but really was nice.

Hope that is helpful. I really had a blast - cant wait to go back when the next course opens in 2023.

Any updates on conditions?   This thread really has me worried.  Got a group of guys going down for 5 days in late September. Any recommendations on specific caddies?  Most of us are in our 30’s

They are in the middle of a month long shutdown so hopefully they will get ahead of it.

I’ll probably be out there next weekend so can provide an update on this thread at that time.
