Taylormade SIM delivery time

So I ordered the taylormade Sim with a ventus blue shaft and was told 4 days to deliver. Well it has been 2 weeks and nothing, Golf galaxy and Taylormades website says 10 days for custom orders. So I called Taylormade and they are saying 6-8 weeks.

 

Just curious how long everyone has waited for their new driver.

My friend bought Sim irons and they took 8 weeks for delivery!

I gotta quoted 3.5 months for a warranty replacement... they said something about a shortage on sim heads 🤷🏻‍♂️

I  ordered a custom Spider Chalk on Monday and it arrived today.  Interesting that the other clubs are taking that long

Yup this is life during covid. Basically everything in demand is out of stock. We went to go buy some desks for kids homeschooling and nothing in stock, gotta wait 4-6 weeks.

Went through this in the Spring, waited 6 weeks for it and it showed up wrong.  Shaft was stock length instead of 44 and the wrong flex to boot.  They basically told me to play it or get back in line, sold it and immediatly went back to Titleist.

Ugh. Any news on fairways? I just ordered a sim ti 3w.

Wow... Callaway has always treated right. Especially on warranty issues. My Mavrik had something inside of it that was rattling around about a month after purchase, they overnighted a new head the next day. And that was in the middle of Covid

Took 4 weeks for SIM driver back in August. Rocket 3 took 5 weeks. SIM hybrid took 7 weeks. All ordered in July.

Yikes.   I’m testing the TSi3 vs SIM  next week and ordering one of them. FIgured they’d be all caught up on SIM right now.

Yea I wouldn't be very happy about that! You weren't able to just return it?

That's bonkers.  How on earth would they actually say that vs. contacting a local store with inventory and issuing them a credit to get a new head in your hands sooner...  I understand it's just one person vs. the amount of product sold, but 3.5 months...

Because they already have my money so they don’t care about getting me a replacement 😂 I wonder if @TaylorMade Golfcan chime in and give me an update on “how many more sleeps” that’ll be haha

I was quoted the same 3.5 months for a replacement as well. Checked their expected ship date for 9* SIM heads yesterday, their website said 4/5/2022! Now today the custom shop is unavailable on their website...

I've had the same problem with Taylormade and a few other manufactures. I ordered the P7TW irons in tiger specs and I'm currently going on 7 weeks with expected shipment sometime late next week. I was quoted 3 weeks max when I purchased. 

 

 I've heard that they have had a surge in orders / combined with supply chain issues.

Yikes. May be skipping the SIM driver fitting.  M
