Shortening swing and moving from X-stiff to Stiff? Foresight data needs interpretation

I have been working on shortening and compacting my iron swing.  Previously, I was swinging too hard, with active wrists, which put me into DG120 X100 shafts. I am swinging around 90-91mph for my 7-iron. They work well for me, but I wanted to see what a softer shaft would look like for my swing now.

I went to PGATSS today and tried some shafts on the JPX 921 forged today.  The shafts were all "stiff" which is what I wanted to look at and see if there was a difference.  Please note that the JPX 921 Forged is around 180-185 carry vs the MMC I normally hit at 175.  Launch is probably a tad low due to that: it was 19 degrees on my MMC.

Attached are pics of the 6.0 LZ shaft.  How do the numbers look? I was aimed left, so ignore that: I was hitting these 2 strikes on the screws and they were dead straight. Any reason why the LZ is a poor choice?  The X100 shaft, which I brought along for comparison, launched about 19 degrees and had slightly more spin.

On an aside, the PGATSS guy didn't really know what he was talking about. At low 90's SS for 7-iron, I could easily be in an X-stiff, but he said "that is probably way too stiff for you-nobody uses X-stiff". He also had me try several 105g shafts: total waste of time.  They were just too light and vague.  I was trying to figure out the difference between stiff and X-stiff and this guy didn't know the first thing about shafts.

Anyways, how does this data look for the PX 6.0 LZ? Please ignore the Azimuth as I was aimed about 5 degrees left.  Any advantage to switching vs the X100?  I didn't notice much of a difference honestly, but I wasn't hitting identical clubs either.

yes spin is low, i know the jpx forged 7 iron is 31 degrees, but i would think at least 6000+,

i dont have much experience with foresight to know how accurate it is, but your getting 15 yards of roll off a 7 iron, you'll never hold a green with that little spin

What ball were you using?

Actually, I meant "foresight" like Kleenex as it is whatever PGASS uses.

Balls were Top Flite, so pretty low spin.  On the Michael Newton video, he had similar low 5's spin from the 921 Forged.  It is a pretty low spinning iron.  Would I be looking for a higher spin shaft?

I would try to hit it with a real golf ball if possible. That spin does seem low for a 7 iron even with the stronger loft. Launch numbers look pretty good though. And ball speed seems fine for even an X so I don't think a 6.0 is too much, especially if you didn't get along with lighter weights. I would get on their shaft optimizer and see what it says, then try the options it spits out (typically gives 3).

Launch and ball speed look fine. Would like another 1000 RPMs of spin, but that could be because of the ball and/or mat.

You need to be doing this with your gamer ball otherwise the data doesn't really corelate.  They usually have a sleeve of every type of ball in one bay.  And I do agree spin is low so it could lead to bad despersion.

I believe Project X LZ 6.0 plays comparable in stiffness to DG X100. And Project X LZ 5.5 is comparable in stiffness to DG S300.

The DG and LZ shafts "feel" different from each other when swung, but for accuracy-dispersion-weight they are similar.
