lolol. PXG. Cheap.  I’ll take “things I never thought I’d hear a golfer say, for 1,200.”

Mavrik 2022 replacement,  2021 will be the new Epic Speed.

Mavrik will get replaced in 2022 most likely.

Mavrik won't be getting replaced technically, but epic flash did get a price drop when Mavrik released and actually became unavailable for custom order shortly thereafter. Not technically cancelled but if your only option to buy one is what is in stock at retail stores then imo it might as well be considered cancelled.

I wouldn't be surprised to see the same thing happen again this year since it looks like the economy is still going to be affected by covid. You would probably have to wait until mid February or March though to see the price drop off you can wait that long.

The golf industry is in the biggest equipment boom in its history. Prices aren't going down anytime soon. EVERYONE is setting sales records during the pandemic.

Also, Epic Flash was 18 months old before they started discounting it.

If you are only trying to save money, get a Cobra or a PXG...they are dirt cheap and Cobra comes out with a new driver every 12 months.

Callaway is sneaky in their “two driver lines” (adjustable Epic and non Rogue/Mavrik).  So because of this, they tend to delay the price drops.

That said, by Black Friday the discounts on Mavrik on Cally Pre Owned will be nice.  Try to find a “very good” condition....it’ll probably come wrapped in plastic.

Just curious if Callaway is going to be replacing the mavrik in 2021. I’m looking to get the subzero and hate to purchase at full price

Go to Preowned - like new and see if they have a shaft you like

I agree I just spent the last few days hitting my ts2 vs sim vs mavrik sub vs ping lst vs tsi3. Both inside and outside and the subzero was a clear winner. Now they all easily beat out my ts2, the ping wasn’t far ahead but the others were much better fit for me

Sales wise it didn’t surpass epic flash but that doesn’t make it a bad driver...I know I’m a bit of a head case when it comes to drivers and I have hit every current model on the market IMO the Mavrik is really good, for me personally it checks every single box sounds good, feels good, performance and look. Everyone has an opinion and I think there are lots of good options out there right now especially with Tsi but this is my choice...

Under construction....

Umm, the time to buy PXG has never been better. $365 for the brand new proto driver (stock shaft) and 0211 irons are like $89 a piece brand new right now.

Hopefully the Epic Speed fairways will still have an adjustable hosel.

They unfortunately will not, I've heard that they will be a glued hosel.

I would be surprised if the new line wasn’t adjustable. Gotta keep up with the likes of Ping, TM and Titleist that offer adjustable fairways and hybrids.

Yeah it’s definitely different, but it’s confirmed they will not be adjustable once again. The Mavrik FWs were great last year, and I’m sure they will follow suit this year.
