Real or Fake Scotty Cameron?

Bought this on eBay from a seller with 100 percent feedback and multiple scottys for sale and was curious if the community thinks it’s a counterfeit?

I'd say it's real because it has the vertical mill mark and nothing about it looks terrible. Most/all fakes don't have this vertical mill mark:

The chinese fakers have learned to add this line on their newer models. 

 

What would concern me is the area at the bottom of the neck. That rough texture is something usually associated with casting. I'm guessing if you were to try and bend that putter it would snap.

I'm going to go with fake on this one. Attaching a picture from an ebay listing, you can see how the shape of the bottom is different on the Skull putter. There's a point on the real one where just before the end of the insert towards the toe that the shape of the sole begins to turn upward. On the Skull sole picture you can see it's just a gradual slope the length of the putter. Additionally, look at the material between the insert and the top lines. On the real one there's a consistent difference between them, pretty much even across the face of the putter. On the Skull putter you can see a change, a very slight narrowing in that gap from the toe to the heel.

 

I call fake.

I think this is a fake as well looking at the bottom. Considering this is supposed to be a milled putter the edges around the lettering and skull should be sharp like on the face of the putter. Because of the light you can see all the edges are soft which would happen on a cast putter. Looks like a cast head with milling on the face.

They never put enough of a champfer around the perimieter of the face to match the real ones. As noted above neck shows signs of being cast not milled. I was leaning towards a refurbish at first that someone got a little heavy on the buffing pad (see that dip on the topline) But then to see the ad for the counterfeit with that same logo etched into the face kinda seals the deal on it being fake. 

 

Also the bottom of the "insert" on the sole i think the corners are too squared off, the legit ones are more rounded. My 2 cents

If it's just over $100 on an Asian website, and that's the only proof of life, it's likely fake.
