Just ordered one and its getting delivered this week. Really excited to use it as I've always struggled with balance and using the ground in the past

Tried tonight with some wood cut off.  Not sure if I am doing it right but with it there I hit 4/5 super clean 7 irons, lately I am lucky to hit 1-2 out of 10 in the middle!  Not sure why though!

Locked into the ground and not swaying back, or through, would be my guess.   Prize fighters use the bottom of the ring, same type idea.

Seems to me this would not work for those of us with less flexibility.  I kinda depend on a little slide to get me rotated.

Yeah, this is very intriguing.  I found one review on YouTube.

 

 

It does seem grossly over priced for what it is.  If it were maybe 50 bucks, I might give a go.  I think I'll take the kitchen cutting board out on the range later today to see how that works.  Just don't tell my wife!

It makes you focus on your pelvic floor. Think light Kegel exercises except exercising them is less the point (compared to gym machines) as is learning how to use your stabilizers to effect correct balance & turn.

Remember Hogans book and older golf instruction where you slightly pinch the knees inward at address in light tension?  (most drills / explanations are slightly to greatly exaggerated on purpose).

 

Bradley Hughes & his instruction are absolutely legit and well worth investigating and I’m sure anyone would benefit from the training tool because of what it’s going to give you as a feel.

But you can emulate the same drill on a range mat, that is in newish condition, with a pair of cleated golf shoes (soft spikes) and use their grip to hold inward pressure (to an point). Cleats should not be worn down obviously.

 

If you’re curious if you should buy Brad’s Board vs make your own remember that Brad’s newest board (black/white) is adjustable from square to feet open.  For the trouble of making one you could buy Brad’s and after you’ve ingrained the feel sell it off.
