What irons are fellow lefty's using?

Just got some ZX7s 4-pw, was using 714 MBs and 2018 Callaway X forged prior. 

 

The zx7s are literally right in between the 2 sets. 714 mbs being firm, callys being super soft. The zx7s are like the perfect combo of solid but soft at the same time. Excellent clubs

Played 2019 PXG 0211 irons, switched into Honma TW-X irons somewhat recently. Loving them so far, great clubs. Shiny new clubs always catch my eye though.

The Srixon seems to struggle with shallow swing path vs the T100. Others claim the same characteristic.

Still working well for me. I've had some bad rounds recently but that is me being stiff and my swing not being on. Big, big fan of these irons. I just wish they had a little less offset.

 

I don't want the 747P's, wish us lefties could hit the 747V's or the TR line with Honma. I would play a blended TR20/21 set, they look great.

Lefty clubs are always interesting. 

 

I play the JPX 919 Forged, in the new version they don't exist as a full set, so I'd be heading to Srixon (testing of course). 

 

In the UK, it's difficult to get every option available to test and I can't find anyone in my region that does left handed putter fittings either. 

 

However, it can have some advantages; American Golf (UK chain store) sell off ex-demo and used clubs. A few years ago I picked up a Callaway XR Steelhead Hybrid, marked ex-demo but had not been hit and was £40. Took it to the till and it was actually £29! Absolute bargain, a once over £200 club. And yes, I still use it now.

I was gifted  Srixonz765's w/ KBS Tour 120 shafts last year and they haven't left my bag since.  I would have never even considered these irons before they were given to me. I played 714CBs w/ DGS300 prior.  

 

I've been a naturally strong iron player since I started so dialing in the details of my irons, in terms of shafts/fit/etc., has take a back seat to other aspects of my game. Another reason I played 714s as long as I did. 

 

That being said, I think my ideal set up would be new Titleist CBs with the KBS 120 shafts.

I have a blade 4 and 5 I am installing 6 iron shafts in to test a partial single length concept. 4, 5, and 6 same length, 7-PW standard length. Should be fun, still need to find a 6, dammit.

been playing Nike VR Pros for the past two years, after an 8 year layoff.  JUST scored some sweet Word not allowed Wilson Staffs.  Second set but this time they got the money shafts so they pure.  Thanks LUCHO!!

Well I was playing i210 irons last season but just never got 100% comfortable when looking down at them.  Was going to go back to Apex 19 (which I should have held on to) but could not find the set make up I wanted (they most had a 4 and 5 iron I did not want to pay for and I was looking for graphite).  So I ordered some Apex DCB irons.  They came in and I have hit them using Skytrack. They still sound and feel like my Apex 19’s.  They might be a touch hotter off the face based on the numbers I saw.  I will put them into play a couple times this week so we will see.

Pre-ordered Haywood CB's and MB's 4-PW and will be using the same Kuro Kage shafts as the BGD's.

 

The finish on the BGD's is tough, barely any wear after well over 50 rounds.

Mavriks were replaced by Hot Metal 921 and I made the mistake of buying a PXG 0311 XP 6 iron. Mistake ? Only cause I had to go and buy the 7 thru GW to match? No. Only from a marriage stand point was a mistake. won’t be buying any new clubs for a while that’s for sure .

Gen 4 0311 P. My ideal iron…the best qualities of the last two sets I gamed - P790 and 919F - power of the P790 and feel of the 919F.
