JFM628... Are you looking at getting some irons in this category?  Hot metal pro? T300?  would love to hear your thoughts on what your thinking.. I just saw srixon is coming out with a new Zx5.  I think Hot metal pro is what I am leaning towards.

Worst part is my miss is a strong fade off the toe. The fitting room was angled to the left and the mat to hit off into the range was angled to the right. Created a perfect storm. I’m not entirely sold they were pulled shots vs the fact I was lined up incorrectly

I hit a lot of things very recently.  I was fitted early in the season but waited long enough to hit the 921's.  I also dropped my index from an 11 to a 6.  I settled on the 921 HMP with a HM 5 iron and a Forged GW.  LZ 6.0 shaft.  Gonna be another few weeks to get them.

Played them each the first week twice.  Have had the Titleist in the bag since and sold the Mizuno this week. 
 

The T200 has to be the sleeper iron of the year.  So easy to hit snd felt every bit as good as the Mizuno. 
 

And i had T300 before that. So, of all the ones you’re considering.  Titleist by far IMO

 

FWIW the 100s in 8-P is very easy to hit.  The PW is probably the most accurate and best feeling club I’ve ever hit. 

I am having the same debate.  Have played both T200s and Hot Metal Pros 919.  While the HMP seem more forgiving, I think the T200s are better long term and for a 10 handicapper.  Thoughts?  Are you still using T200s?  Thank you.

My initial impressions still hold.  The T200 are very good.  I have no regrets in ultimately choosing them over the Hot Metal/HMP combo.

Any further thoughts on the HMPs? Surprised I haven't seen more about them on here. Recently hit them at a fitting and really liked them

I went with a set of these, and think they beat the T200 I came from. Softer feeling, slightly more distance and noticeably tighter dispersion. Kinda hard to believe they are basically the same size as 2019 T200, the new ones look slightly smaller but have a plastic back. Really good iron in the HMP that most people seem to overlook.
