It is soft. Give it a couple of days and it will dry and and the beast will wake up.

Was looking at the Masters website viewing the holes #15 and #16 coverage and noticed a fairly large building I have not seen before because of the gallery blocking the view.  The building is located behind the 16th tee so would be to the golfers left as he exited the 15th green.   Restrooms,  merchandise area etc..?

Augusta should just introduce a Masters ball. Three options; soft, regular and firm, it flies 25% shorter. Limit the drivers to 260cc and tell everyone to suck it. 
The USGA and R&A abdicated their duties. I guarantee not a single player would boycott the tournament.

Its more that bad approaches aren’t getting penalised as normal, Rory and Dj would have been off the green on 9 normally

I’ve stated before I think a lot of pros secretly really like not having fans on the course, But this is Augusta where they can Require the crowd to respect the players more than the crowd ... Having said that, it’s going to be a long tournament because of the rain delay and the daylight Amount, and not having crowds really works out for them I think ... They are in a bubble, and its all about the golf ..:

Tough draw for the afternoon guys off the front having to call it a night right as they were getting to the scoring holes with the greens soft and receptive. Also a pretty unenviable first swing of the day tomorrow for Phil.

Couldnt ask for more from TW given how lame his game has been. Clean card and pretty dialed in. Course will speed up so who knows if he keeps up. His experience out there is invaluable, of course.

Yep. Don’t worry. No real rain till next week now. The red clay  will dry quick and turn back to concrete.  Sub airs will dry the greens and this lady will show her teeth by Saturday evening.  It was flat calm today.  Even in my yard which is elevated.  I blew leaves and could go any direction I wanted. That’s how still it was.
