Great job by DJ.  Showed some emotion in that interview.

I don't know why he gets so much s*** on this forum. He's a cool dude. I know it's common for yuppies to lack empathy for middle and working class people but the ones here should try to develope some.

yep ... already been several snide comments about some past issues ... oh well ... 3rd graders gonna 3rd grade ...

time to tee it up and get 9 in ...

He is the second oldest ever winner of the Masters, he has matured nicely in his mid-40s compared to where he was 5 years ago. There's enough there to suggest he will contend again. He hadn't played great golf going into this year but if he gets any kind of form going into the next few years he has a chance.

That's a BIG if. His back isn't getting any better. Neither are his knees. Today showed that and the amount of withdraws and poor showings hes had the past two years shows it as well. Are there glimmers of greatness still there? Of course.

It's ok, I get it. You guys want him to win another Masters, but realistically it won't happen. Just accept it lol.

Well, if medical science perfects the back transplant I suppose that could happen. Otherwise, no. He might be able to win his own event or things like the Zozo with weak fields but that's about all. Look on the bright side though, it's just a few years until he can dominate the Champions tour.

And for those of you who doubt DJ wanted this.......I hope you watched the interview outside......touching

I was glad to see that emotion by DJ also. He always keeps his composure and doesn't let his emotions get to him. Shows how special The Masters is.

Isnt DJs brother his regular caddy? Lol

The story was from a decade ago, not recent. He went toThailand to play so his brother went(due to caddies baby birth) and then won a WGC event a week or two Lateran bro has been caddy ever since

Neither of us are cameramen but based on your logic, we can’t criticize one for being unable to follow the ball. 🙄

By your own admission Verne doesn’t announce anymore and it shows. Don’t put words in my mouth, DL3 is awful and I don’t know even who Luke Elvy is. The broadcast would be better if they just left Verne off.

I didn't see you complaining about a camera operator. I saw you complaining about one of the legends of broadcasting. He is still better than most, as the saying goes, including the guy who said that line. They can't leave the seat empty. You want someone saccharine like IBF to do that hole too? This isn't an easy job. Verne will know when it's time to leave. I'll take his judgment on that point over yours all day long.

How people are trying to discredit this win for DJ is mind boggling lol. "executive course" "flat tournament".

Salty a** hoes

They all play the same course, but there are 'horses for courses'. I think the set up really helped some players, but funny enough I don't think this set up favoured DJ against the field as much as the typical AGNC course conditions in April.

DJ played 4 days of super solid golf and walked away with it. Not much else to say.

When the guy is on his game he looks unbeatable.

Likely many of the same ones who slobber all over Tiger when he finishes -1, 19 strokes behind.

Or BDC for 'proving' he could overpower the course.

Sometime I think I must be watching a different event than the people posting.

Baker-Finch and Immelman to me are terrible. Michelle Wie on the streaming broadcast likewise unlistenable. Buuuut it's the Masters in a pandemic year, and very grateful to have had it. Johnson made it boring, in an "easy" setting his dominance was another level.

TW played flawless golf on Thurs and shot 68, four rounds of that would have still gotten him beat by FOUR shots...TW can win again but the stars will have to align, along with his back and IMO ANGC is the only course that may allow him to do that...I though Snead's record was and brainer but no so sure anymore. The way TW played 13-18 shows he still has what it takes to contend and win.

Was anyone else disappointed with the pin placement on 16? Back left was always, as far as I can remember, the final round placement and it lent itself to some great moments and a possible turning point in the tournament.

LOL. I agree. When I first saw the pin placement on 16th, I was like “WTF? Did I watch the wrong recording?” (I recorded a lot of live golf)
