Casper, as golfwrx knows, is among the most underrated golfers in history...

Yep. That stalling tropical system is predicted to give us 3-4 inches of rain this coming week minimum.  Said localized 5 plus inches.  So yay 2020 ruins yet another thing.

Course is setup for a TW repeat here. The guy can hit it high, low, hit low bombs with his stinger, and basically play around any kind of weather the course throws at him. My money is on Tiger this time.

 

Folks who bomb the ball with no accuracy aren't going to be successful here. I predict "missed cut" for those type of players.

With all the rain, the bomber has the advantage no? Hitting spots on the greens do not matter as much. Bryson, Rory, DJ come to mind. Love to see Tiger in there but he has not done much since last Masters.

It was soft last year, and he was in form.. didn’t help him. Love to see him complete the slam but he’s like Norman at ANGC just wants it too much.

 

i can’t see past Bryson he’s had good rounds there before he’s 10/1 on various websites I know that doesn’t sound generous in a big field but I’d be astounded if he doesn’t contend one of the next two Masters

He was the Round 1 leader I think last year, so he can play good there. I think with him not playing the last couple weeks he’s probably been doing weird prep work. So top 5 for sure. koepka with a low key top 5 this week is probably got decent odds.

Exactly.  It’s not cold here.  Period.  It was 72 today. Supposed to be 77 here on Thursday.  I’m a little over an hour and change away.    The real story is rain. Playing in the rain. Not wet. Rain.  Falling rain.  Lol.

Agree... Don’t forget 2007. Cold and windy. Zach Johnson won laying up on EVERY par 5 for the week.

BK will be up there in the betting but he’s gone backwards in a couple of recent majors he’s been in contention in..

The old style plastic holes/“studs” in the back I think I noticed made me recoil in horror. Was afraid to rewatch.

I’m so excited I got suckered into the Masters party pack! My wife couldn’t go in 2016 and she is looking forward to the pimento cheese. Since my kids are coming home at Thanksgiving this will be the Iowa vs. Nebraska cornucopia of snacks (but we’ll nibble some before then).
