Ventus Blue/Black play stiff to flex?

Recommended Posts

Currently playing a Smoke Black 6.5 in driver and 3 wood and in a hybrid too. The flex is fine for me but want to change to the Ventus to help a little with dispersion. I’m generally 103-108 or so most days with a fairly hard transition. Would the Ventus shafts in X be too much if the 6.5 in the Smoke Black works? I know the torquis much lower on the Ventus shafts

Playing both right now and I have played the hzrdus in past.  I would say the hzrdus and blue are more similar with the black being firmer. I play blue in my fairways tipped 1 inch and black untipped

If you're playing a 6.5 I would say X should be fine. When I hit them I didnt consider them stiff to flex.

PX is more of a 'stiff to flex' designation. 6.0 is like S+ and 6.5 is X+

If you know it would help with your dispersion, havent you already hit the shaft to know if it would feel ok? If not, how do you know the ventus would help you

I play blue in my fairways tipped 1 inch and black untipped in my driver.  I am not super high launch or spin and this setup is fitting me well.  I might try a blue in the driver as well.  I would really have to think if it would be worth switching from a smoke 105x to ventus for the price.
