Bubba's recovery shot to win the 2012 Maters.

Just wondering if anyone has the same recollection an event surrounding that shot. I think (and I'm probably wrong) the a journalist or someone else on the ground saw where his ball finished then went up to the green. When he saw the reply on the TV he stated that that isn't where he saw Bubba's ball finish and he thought someone must have moved it.

 

I'm not trying to knock Bubba (he still hit one of the greatest shots in golf history) but this just sticks in my mind. 

 

Did anyone else hear anything similar?

Never heard that. You can go watch that final round and check your recollection if you want, though.

Oh I'm not trying to make it out to be true, I'm just thought I read something about it a few years ago.

How on earth do you "hear" about things like this? You can just watch the actual tape, unless you are saying the tape and replays were faked too? I am so confused by this post because it makes absolutely no sense what-so-ever.

Geez, guys I wasn't trying to troll anyone or anything. I was just asking if anyone else had heard the rumor.

 

I don't believe it but I'm sure I had heard it years ago.
