I'll add, if you like a blue profile then a 125msi rogue silver can be had for cheap and is a great shaft too. The 110msi is firmer in the handle than the 125..at least to me.

Don't disagree that it's a good shaft but the silver is a low launch profile that would be a better match for the Diamana D than the S.   Rogue Black or Rogue Elite Blue are the ones with the mid-launch profile.

Agree 100% on the profile match. My post should have noted the silver has a very similar feel to other blue profiles.

Sounds like your like me,  more sensitive to the butt/mid stiffness than the tip stiffness.

You and I have conversed on shaft profiles before and we are very similar in preference. You're the reason I ended up trying (and liking) the vts silver in a hybrid.

At this point, I'm not sure which I'm more sensitive to. The speeder evo2 is more tip stiff than the evo3. They both felt nearly identical from a butt stiffness perspective but I couldn't keep the evo3 on the planet, whereas the evo2 is lasers.

Guess I'll know more soon. Going to put a ventus blue through the paces against the 125msi rogue in my driver. From what I understand, ventus has a firmer tip section than the rogue and the rogue definitely has a slightly firmer butt. They both feel rather linear in transition.

How would the Hzrdus smoke black 60 stiff compare to the Diamana d+ 60 stiff?

Sorry, not really all that familiar with the details of the smoke black.  Stiff tipped, low launch shafts are not really my preference.   Just curious, why the interest in the low launch shafts instead of the mid-launch shafts mentioned in the OP?

Thank you.

It’s fairly exposed and windy where I play and so the idea of a lower, penetrating ball flight also appeals.

Sadly, we’re on lockdown and so I can’t go and hit some balls and test a few out.

IMO, shafts should always be chosen based on how they feel and the consistency of the results they produce, not the launch characteristics.   First of all not all swings are able to take advantage of the different launch characteristics so for some people they are really meaningless as far as the resulting ball flight goes.   And even if it does effect it, it may also introduce other problems if the stiffer feel doesn't sink with the individuals preferences or expectations of how a shaft should feel.    If you need to keep the ball flight low, either use a lower lofted head or learn to control trajectory with the swing.   Usually just teeing it up lower than normal and placing it a little back in the stance is enough to make more of a difference then the shaft selection ever could.

The Rogue Black is likely going to be closer to the blue profile.   The white is between that and the silver.
