RTX4 didn't have a lot of offset. The RTX3 did. IMO RTX4 was as good as a wedge can look at address.

I’ve owned both and I’d say they present the same amount of offset.

The stock shaft is the biggest change between the two if you're comparing OTR, but if your talking strictly heads then no, none in my opinion. I went from RTX4 to SM8's then when I got a new set of irons, I had to regap my wedges so picked up the zipcore. I would have gone with RTX4's had I been able to find them in the right lofts/bounces at my local GG.

Bringing up an older discussion, but I have the opportunity to purchase some RTX-4 wedges, the of the Forged variety which is from what I understand the Japanese version. They're about a 100 bucks each, and was wondering if I'm missing out on anything by not going to the zipcores (savings is quite substantial). Are the Forged versions that much different from the usual cast?

 

As a background, I'm using Nike Engage wedges and have played with Cleveland before and like them both (had the Rotex 2.0 and RTX-3's before getting my hands on some barely used Engages).
