Best forged wedge

Depends on the conditions you usually play in. If you usually play courses with short grass and tight lies near the greens get wedges with less bounce. If the grass is little thicker get wedges with more bounce. If the fairways are tight, but there is rough around the greens you need to have wedges to cover both conditions. The wedge(s) you usually use out of sand arouwnd the greens (and chipping out of rough) should have more bounce for ease of use and the one or two for fwairways should be the one(s) with less bounce. Your technique affects this to some degree. You have to experiment.

Check this beauty out.  I just got it a few months back.  You can't go wrong with Miura wedges.  I prefer the HB model because I need the higher bounce for my swing and the courses I play here In SoCal.  The K grind was also very versatile as well when I tested it.

Callaway MD Forged with the blue fill in the back was an absolutely classic wedge. Huge fan.

I first thought that it was all form over function and there were no merits to the crazy grind. However, after using it for a while, I realized that on difficult lines (up, down, side hills, hardpan), these crazy grinds actually help the club head to lay flatter on the ground.  It might as well be the placebo effect, but it works for me.

Based on some recent tv time,the best forged wedge should now be Hi Spin and Easy outa Sand and have a built in Draw too keep ball dry and in play! Seeing is believing.

I have played the RM 22 Fourteen wedges for years. But have switched to their NEW FH Forged V1.  Softer and more versatile..

I added a Yururi Raw Gekku 57* to the bag a few months ago.  The previous owner had it refinished, so it doesn't have the same "raw" look, but it was a steal of a deal.   Feels just as amazing as my buddy's Miura wedges.

If you are looking for wedges, or specifically a LW, I can only speak to my experience. I’ve used Cleveland CG16 46, 52, 54, 56, and a Sonartec T15 and T35 60* for the better part of 15 years. I’m just used to them, and I keep on the lookout for fresh ones. I don’t see a great deal of technology at this end of the bag, so I’m okay with my old stuffs.
