Here are more pics. I have tested both the Srixon Zx7 and  ZX5 and I am VERY impressed. The feel of the 1020 Endo Forged (rare to get 1020 and Endo forged now days) ZX7 is one of the best I have ever

Finally arrived. Time to get to the outdoor heated bay Perhaps the first set (4-P) in Calgary

Time to move on man. Save the facetious tones for your kids.

I asked for 3 sets to be SW a particular SW and they have delivered on the first of 3 that are arriving, I consider that custom.

Kind ask...in the future please don’t use information or materials that do not belong to you without the permission of the owner

Srixon you are killing me, please stop making awesome irons. I am poor and love my 765/565 combo. Why continue to make better irons so i need to buy more, just take a year off please

Looking more and more like the Bridgestone/Tourstage design. Not overly impressed on looks. Will be tempted to hit it because of the 1020 steel. The up charge on shafts will be a turnoff for sure. Will wait for one to pop up on BST

I just got my ZX5s -- honestly, I didn't know much about them. It's what the fitter recommended so I went with them.

What is the significance of Endo forged? I've seen that mentioned a lot in posts but I didn't know why that was such a big deal.

Just a better forging that is nice and soft. Honestly, it's cool they are Endo forged, but the 785's were not and felt really good anyways.

Here are more pics. I have tested both the Srixon Zx7 and  ZX5 and I am VERY impressed. The feel of the 1020 Endo Forged (rare to get 1020 and Endo forged now days) ZX7 is one of the best I have ever hit. Kwok said the ZX7's bend like butter and told me the ZX7's are 1020 carbon forged by Endo. Looks like Srixon swang for the fences using soft 1020 and back to Endo to do the forgings. Went to find out more and he was right. Not many are using 1020 and certainly Ising Endo to do the forgings.

The feel off the face is incredible. Watched all the reviews on YT and same findings. As for the ZX5 I hit the long irons real well and didn't experience that "click" that Michael Newton experienced on his YouTube review. TXG and our Johnny Wonder loved them and Ian also talked about the 1020 material as well as being forged in the Endo forging house. Incredible lineup by Srixon.

Great work Srixon!!! Order is in. 4-5 ZX5 and 6-pw ZX7.

Can anyone confirm if Srixon has lighter heads to accommodate longer builds. I want to order ZX7 with x100 +0.5” however I am concerned the swingweight will be too heavy.

Finally got confirmation this morning:

Edit: For context I was asking if I would be around D7 swing weight at +1" and 3* upright.

I would love to see this as well.  Really want to know if Srixon has gone back to the more squat blade length and shape of the Z745.  One of my fav PW shapes of all time.

Anyone know what the zx7 AW looks like?

Ordered today blind. I can tell you when it comes in, but in the past the AW in the 7 series has been a muscle back.

I’m not saying the Zx7 aren’t endo forged. Or are you saying the 785 were? 785’s felt plenty good to me was my point...

Yes they are both endo apparently and I also have the z785 and the feel is great. Had mp18 and z945 and think the z785 feel the best although have minimal rounds with them

Seems to be some debate about this.  Where does Srixon say that? Unless I heard incorrectly, TXG said the 785s were not.

Reid

I think the confusion is that Ian said "Srixon is going back to endo for ZX7", which can be taken multiple ways.

I'm torn between finding a good set of 745s or splurging for the ZX7s.  Will definitely buy the ZX in 18 degrees.

Tough finding a good set of Z745's. Most people who have them, realize what they got. Best set of irons I've ever had.

I always have my eye out for another set...

Man, I missed out on a set of mint 945's with X100's for $250 locally last spring. Someone snatched them up an hour before.

I believe the Z745 , Z765 were Endo forged and the Z785 they used another Forging house....  The ZX7 Are Endo Forged so they are going back fits.

Well, when all else fails, ask the source.  Good news for 785 owners (mentally mostly) bc if that was not the case it would be in my head forever!!
